"Remember when the top shield agent was killed on the field in 2012? I killed him. in cold blood. I'm the reason Director Fury only has one eye."

I took off my hoodie leaving me in my tank top. scars littered from my shoulders down to my wrist. i pulled up my top to show the scars across my abdomen.

I muttered. So i did the only thing i know how to do. I ran

I didn't even grab my sweatshirt or shoes i just ran back to my apartment ashamed of myself ...

Running in leaving the lights off I ran to the far corner of the room to watch the sun rise. its only 6:00.. setting there sobbing I hear knocks on the door. and they won't stop.

I get up to go to my bedroom trying to ignore it because I figured it was Steve. Boy was i wrong.

"Come on Y/n open the door. I've been a trained assassin for 50 years i can hear you moving around."

"Y/n please?"

I walked over and opened the door and as soon as I did I was attacked

Embraced in a hug that could crush my ribs, hug attacks weren't normal for me.

At all.

i haven't hugged anyone since i was 11.

I go to pull back but i cease movement the second i hear Bucky start to cry. Then he just. Looses it and just sobbed..

Me being a short tiny girl compared to Bucky and having him sob on me is a sight to see..

I walk over to the couch and pull him back into a hug an just continue to let him cry. about 20 minutes later Steve comes to check on Bucky.

"Y/n the doors open is-"

"SHHH"
"He's asleep."

"WHAT?!" Steve says in a hushed tone.

"How did yo-?"

"He just attacked me in a hug when he came through the door and started sobbing. I brought him over to the couch and let him cry on me. He fell asleep a little bit later."

"I'm so glad he has someone like you to help him"

"Steve? Are you ashamed to be my friend after finding out I'm the one who stabbed out Nicks eye?"

"No"

"Never ever would I be ashamed of you y/n"

"When Bucky left i followed and then I released he was safe when he showed up here."
"So I left and went to talk to Fury instead and he told me what happened" "and I told him you opened up but I didn't wanna push you for details so i went to him"
"He's shocked you opened up to Buck."

"So am I Steve. so am I"
