14. The earthquake

"Y/n, can you tell us what happened?"
Bucky asks as gently as possible

Y/n's Y/c/e eyes filled with worry and fear

She cries harder

So Bucky being well Bucky tells her to scoot over. He climbs into the bed with her and pulls her into his lap, careful to avoid her arm and IV. He strokes her hair and rubs her back as she buries her face into his chest, sobbing harder.

"Calm down. Doll, its okay. He's okay. Just a broken arm. Your injuries were more severe than his. You're fine baby doll. Okay?"

"Okay" she says barely above a whisper.

"So as i was getting ready to get in the shower, there was a knock at the door and i walked over to open it and it was Tony standing there."

She takes a deep breath

Bucky wipes away her tears with his flesh hand and rubs her back with his metal one.

"So he comes in, and he just started yelling, he kept screaming about 'how can you love that piece o-of shit, he killed y-y-your parents y/n! Not to mention mine! He kept screaming at me an telling me how pathetic i am because i fell in love with Bucky. I don't believe a word he says, he can go fuck off somewhere."

"I was crying at that point screaming back at him. He got in my face and so i pushed him back. My powers. They activated from the fear and the anger. So he flew backwards into the kitchen, knocking all the plates out of the cabinet. He got back up and then started screaming about how I'm a freak and how ill 'never be a true avenger and neither will your boy you because you're both pieces of shit who are murderers. Look at what you did to Maria's dad. Y'all are two good ones together considering you're murderers and all'.."

She takes a deep breath and continues

"He kept screaming and i got mad. So i screamed at the top of my lungs and threw my arms in the air. When i did my powers activated, he flew through the room again hitting the wall and landing on his arm. It flipped everything and threw me back against the wall and the plants on the shelf falling on me. Tony walked out the door yelling "Fuck you" on the way out."

She lost it. She started sobbing and screaming. Her power activating again making the entire tower shake.

"Shh baby calm down, breath with me ready? Breath in 12345, breath out 1234."

Its not working

"Bucky if we don't calm her down within the next 3 to 5 minutes the tower is going to collapse an bring us down with it" Clint says

She keeps freaking out sobbing harder. Her entire body shaking. She's glowing a bright purple.

They call in Wanda, hoping she can get into her mind and calm her down.

"Bruce, you need to sedate her, Now!"
"Her mind is so jumbled she cant hear us. The only thing she comprehend is Bucky's touch, and its not helping. Wanda says

Bruce runs over and grabs the needle and walks back over.
"Mr. Barnes i need you to hold her arms down and try and keep her head still." Bruce says

Y/n screams

"NO!"

"No more experiments! Please don't hurt me!" She pleads

Clint is crying in the corner and so is Bucky. They're all crying

They finally get her sedated.

Bruce looks at them

"Someone tell me what fuck is going on before the other guy makes his appearance because it won't be pretty and i can't control it" Bruce says sternly

Everyone looks at him in shock

"Y/n was kidnapped by hydra when she was 11." Bucky hiccups

"They experimented on her and tortured her endlessly. She's having flash backs and thinks shes with hydra. I know that shit all too well." Bucky adds

Then the door busts open and Steve comes in Sam following close behind.

"There was an earthquake is y/n okay?" Sam asks concerned

"Sam. That wasn't an earthquake. That was Y/n"

"She has Powers like Wanda, but a lot stronger" Clint says

"Did you call fury?" Buck asks Steve.

"Yeah. He's supervising a mission but he's on his way back"
