12.surgery

Bucky unlocks the door and walks to her bedroom

He lays her down on the bed and goes to turn and walk out of the room

"Bucky" y/n whimpers
"Please don't leave me"
"Please"

He crouches down beside the bed and kissed her hand.

"Y/n I need to go get a rag and medical supplies to care care of your wounds. You have a gash on your arm and the right side of your forehead is busted.

"O-okay. just promise you'll come back?"

"I promise doll, ill always come back. always."

When he returned y/n is still silently crying. he bandages her head first quickly cleaning it and adding the necessary things to cover it until he can have Bruce look at it.

He moves on to look at her arm.
It's still oozing blood. it should've stopped by now. how had he not noticed it before.

So he does the first thing he can think of. he takes off his shirt and makes a makeshift truncate and lifts her body up into his arms bridal style.

"Bucky, what're you doing?"

"Doll, you're gonna need stitches, i can't bandage that. its not gonna stop bleeding."

She just whimpers and buries her face into his arm.

"Doll it's gonna be alright."
"I promise."

As he gets to Bruce's lab he sees tony setting there. his arm in a sling.

"What're you doing here?" tony says through gritted teeth.

He ignores the egotistical asshole of a man. and he turned to Bruce.

"Bruce I-i need your help."
"Please? I don't know what happened but y/n needs stitches."
"Like now. i don't know how long she's been bleeding like this."

Tony looks at Buck.

"At least an hour." he shrugs

"An hour?"
"What the fuck happened?"

"Ask your pretty little naive girlfriend what happened."

He brushes past him and walks out the doors

"Over here Buck. lay her down."

Bruce grabs a pair of scissors to cut Buckys shirt off of her arm.

"B-Bucky?"

"Y/n I'm right here I'm not going anywhere."

"I promised remember?"

"Yeah"

"Buck come with me." Bruce says sternly

"Somehow the bone in her arm is severely broken. were going to have to do surgery to repair it. i can see that its broken without even examining it just from the cut in her arm. its pretty deep Buck."
"I'm going to have to do it now. and sedate her before she looses too much blood"
"We can't take her to a hospital. she's wanted just like you are."

"Okay let me talk to her."

"Y/n?"
"Doll, you um. you severely broke the bone in your arm and it needs surgery before it can heal. Bruce needs to do the surgery now before you loose too much blood. do you think you can be strong and let him do that?"

"Yeah. just please promise you won't leave me." she starts crying again.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry. Please tell Tony I'm sorry"

"Just breathe, doll, don't worry about that right now."
"Bruce were alright let's get this over with. she agreed."

"Okay."
"Y/n you remember me right?"

"Y-yeah"

"Okay good. I'm gonna need you to look at Bucky okay?. This is gonna sting. I'm going give you the sedative now"

"Okay."

"There we go. you should start to feel really sleepy in less than a minute. don't try to fight it. Okay."

"Mhm."
"Bucky?"

"Yeah?"

"I love yo-"

Bucky sighs.

"Bruce? she's not gonna wake up right for a little bit right? i can go home and shower and come back all before she wakes up? i need to talk to Steve and call Fury."

"Yeah. it's also best if you go, so i can work without you freaking out. ill call you if anything happens."

"Thank you."

"In the kitchen"

Bucky walks in seeing Steve cooking lunch for him, Sam, Nat, and Wanda since the group lunch got destroyed.

"Why're you back here?" Steve says without looking up.

"wait why're you covered in blood?" asks Sam

"And why're you shirtless?" asks Nat.

"How's y/n?" Wanda asks.

He takes a deep breath.

"I'm in a hurry. i need to take a shower and get back before y/n wakes up. she's with Bruce she needed stitches. badly. And when Bruce looked at it. she had severely broken her arm. i gotta go."

Bucky does what he has to. grabs an extra sweatshirt for y/n, knowing she loves them. yells bye to the gang and heads out.

He opens the door right as Clint was getting ready to knock.

Clint used to take care of y/n when Fury couldn't he trained her. He's basically her brother. No he is her brother.

"Hey Buck, have you seen y/n? she isn't answering her door."

"Oh God, Uhh she's in the hospital."
