11. The breakdown

Buckys p.o.v

He knocked on the door

"Y/n?"

Knocked again

"Y/n?"

Again

"Come on doll, are you alright?"

"Open up?"

"Please?"

"Y/n?"

Knocks again

"Alright i'm coming in"

He unlocked the door and what he saw wasn't what he expected

Her apartment was completely trashed

Lamps broken

Shattered plates littered the floor

The couch flipped upside down

The window was shattered as well

Everything was well.
Everywhere
It's like someone flipped the apartment upside down and everything landed upside down exactly where it was suppose to be before.
Some stuff broken. Some not.

"Oh my Go-"
"Y/N"
"Y/N"
"Y/N"
"WHERE ARE YOU?!"

he ran checking every room in the apartment. every single room
But one
he stopped In front of the safe room
If she's in there he knows he shouldn't bother her.
But he's worried.
She could possibly not be in there.
She could be taken.
Held hostage somewhere
Or she could be..
No he wouldn't think that. Not until he was sure. One thing he knew for sure is he damn well can not live without her.

So he opens the door.

But it's locked

So he pulls out his key and unlocks it.

And what he doesn't expect to see

Is y/n. hiding in the far left corner of the room.

Under a blanket

Trying to muffle her sobs.

But she fails.

So she screams.

She thinks she's alone

The safe room is supposed to be sound proof when the door is shut

But Bucky opened it.

And is standing in the door way
With the door still open.

Her screams echoing through the entire tower. Her powers making it shake like there was an earthquake

he hears the team running down the hall towards y/n's alarment. all of the team shockingly.

Steve gets there first

But Bucky stops him.

"Steve you need to leave. keep everyone out of here! Go!"

"But Buc-"

"STEVE GO!"
" I don't have time to argue with you!"

So Bucky closes the door and locks it hoping Steve would comply.

He left the key outside the door incase someone needed to check on them if they never came out. Even though they're all pretty capable of just kicking the door in

"Y/n?" Bucky says barely above a whisper
"Doll?"
"It's me"
"Alright? I'm not going to hurt you." Bucky held his hands up in defense or well, to signify surrender

"I'm gonna come closer now, okay?"

He hears her whimper and he freezes

"B-bucky?" he sees y/n's head peak out from under the blanket. her y/c/h is still messy like it was when he left this morning. and her y/c/e eyes are bloodshot and swollen.

Then all of a sudden he hears the putter patter if feet running on the floor and then he feels her wrap her arms around his neck.so he bends down and puts his hands on the back of her legs and picks her up.

She's still whimpering and crying.

Clinging to his shirt for dear life

"Bucky? please tell me i didn't hurt him."

"Hurt who, y/n?"

"Tony."
