After no dream of Veronica in her sleep, Octavian woke up with her still in mind and feeling like a new man. He was a little bit nervous of texting her even after the great time last night. So he texts his childhood friend, Olive and his other best friend Ty.
Octavian: What's good?
Olive: Hey bro. I'm just doing a little house cleaning.
Ty: What's up? I'm playing GTA V.
Octavian: Last night was one of the best moments I've ever lived.
Ty: How come? You got some?
Olive: Chill Ty, you doing too much in the morning. But since he mentioned it,  did you?
Octavian: Naw, but something else great happened. You know that girl I was telling you about? Well I seen her last night and we chilled downtown at Light City.
Olive: Veronica? Aww that's nice bro.
Ty: Wait a minute,  she got a skin complexion like yours?
Octavian: Yeah.
Ty: She got the mind of a river and a body like an ocean?
Octavian: Uh yeah,  how the hell you know? You her ex? Or are you stalking?
Ty: Neither fool. I used to go to school with her.
Octavian: Middle school? Cause I never seen her at the high school where we went.
Ty: Yeah. I'm not going to lie to you, a couple of guys wanted her then.  Myself included lls. But don't worry bro,  I have somebody else.
Octavian: Alright, bet.
Olive: You want her?
Octavian: If I can be truthful,  yeah.
Olive: Then go for her. Just be yourself.
Octavian: I know.
Ty: And don't change up on your people either.
Octavian: You're right, I got you.
Ty: But I will still pack your life away like a fresh suitcase.
Octavian: Mhm, whatever. At least my teeth are where they supposed to be.  In two columns, not three.
Olive: Daammmnnnn.
Ty: Oh you got jokes now? Bet lls.
Octavian: I love y'all.
Ty: Love you too man. Be cautious with your feelings.
Olive: Love you too bro bro.  Don't forget, if you need me, I'm here for you.
Octavian: Alright,  I'll remember what both of y'all said. Thanks.
Ty: No problem. I'm out.
Octavian: Peace.
Olive: Alright, I'm gone.
Octavian: See you.
Meanwhile, Veronica texted her best friend Denice.
Denice: So how wss Light City?
Veronica: I really enjoyed it. I actually ran into a friend.
Denice: Oooh? Was it that Octavian guy?
Veronica: Yes it was him.
Denise: I knew it. So how was he?
Veronica: He was very chill. Respectable, confident,  and a great listener.
Denise: A gentleman indeed. Did you ask him if he was taken? Because he can possibly make out as boyfriend material.
Veronica: No, I respect him as a friend. And that's what we're going to be. But he did tell me he was single.
Denise: That could be a sign of him wanting you.
Veronica: Maybe, but all I want is a friend right now.
Denise: Did y'all talk?
Veronica: Yeah. We got to know each other a little bit.
Denise: Ask him about the last time y'all met to see what he remembers. If he gets most right, then he may want you a little bit. If he gets them all right without hesitation,  then he may want you a lot.  Either that or he's very attentive.
Veronica: Girl you're crazy, but I'll think about it.
Denise: Okay, but if you want my opinion, I think you should keep him in your crosshairs.
Veronica: Okay, TTYL.
Denise: TTYL
And the heat rages on.
