The two resided in Baltimore. A city filled with hidden beauty. Well defined in various forms of art. Baltimore has an annual Light City Festival. Usually held in April, it was rescheduled in October due to the weather being unusually warm along with complications downtown. Veronica made plans to go, but this was different. She planned to attend by herself. That day, she did not text Octavian, but by the time she made it there, Octavian was five minutes away. Veronica was running though the water sprinkles that were exploding with light, while Octavian was heavily observing lights on Federal Hill. He walks down. Then he stopped. He stopped because he was witnessing a woman that is close to his height. Her hair natural like hair on a male lion's bane. Her curvy body made his soul scream for her. His conscience spoke to him. That made him realize that it was Veronica. His heart of course raced greater than lightning bolts in the sky. Yet he was afraid. He thought to himself: "What if it's not her? I don't want to make a mistake that lethal. " Slowly but confidently, he tapped her shoulder and she turns around. It's... Veronica. Octavian released a deep sigh of relief internally and smiled. "It's so good to see you. How you been?" He asked her. "I've been doing okay. Trying not to let my schoolwork overwhelm me. And it's good to see you too. How are you holding up?" "I'm good. Blessed to be alive, well, and standing in front of you, Octavian states with a minor blush and smile. Veronica also smiled and looked away for a little bit. Octavian then asks: "Would you like to come see the lights with me?" Veronica replies with a simple: Sure. And the two walked off into the Light City. They never left each other's side for the entire night. When it was time to leave, they left saying soft goodbyes. When they hugged, they held each other as if they didn't want to let go. When Veronica got home, she meditated and thought of what became a reality, seeing and spending time with a friend. When Octavian got home, he was in total shock of the night he lived. He wrote a love poem and dreamt of kissing the woman he was just with. All he could hear in his mind was himself repeatedly calling her name. "Veronica. Veronica. Veronica. " Both still in great awe of A Night to Remember
