Divine Love

At Last

Veronica and Octavian continued on their significant friendship. The rest of February and all of March went by fast without their full knowing of it. April 1st. The two met at a Subway on Reisterstown road. Veronica was completely fine, but there was something that was biting at Octavian. He felt as though it was time to return on his mission he put on hold for a while now. No smile appeared on his face. Nothing but a straight face, and Veronica knew something was wrong. So she begins with: "Is there something wrong?" "Yeah kind of" Octavian replies with some hesitation. "Well what's the matter?" Veronica follows up. Octavian speaks up, but in a way he never did before. "It's this friendship.  It's the best thing that has ever happened to me. Yet I hate it,  not because of you. I just feel as though I'm ready to go into the next level with you. I've gladly been growing in this friendship with you. And yes,  I've been waiting for a little bit to tell you. You made me do the very thing I was most weak at, and that was waiting. Now you know  I'll always be honest with you. I want a relationship with you. Our communication is healthy, I see you often, and I'd be a damn fool if  I didn't tell you that I want to love you. I put that on my own life. Please Veronica, be my girlfriend." Veronica was not surprised or disappointed either. As a matter of fact, she wanted to see when he would talk up about it. She answered with this: "I also wish that we get into a relationship. I wanted to know if you were on the same page, and from hearing you, you are pretty much. I've always wondered when the right one came along, yet I didn't pay attention to the one who was making an effort to be that guy. And how you treat me, is beyond lovely. I'm pleased to tell you the feelings you feel are mutual. I'll be your girlfriend, but only if you be my boyfriend." Octavian smiled then laughed, and said: "Of course I will be." And the two just spent the rest of their time together observing each other. When they hugged, the same vibe of when they first hugged had returned. For the first time, Octavian hated seeing Veronica go, but he also felt very proud of himself because his mission was finally accomplished. At Last,  these two passionate people are finally making it official. Veronica and Octavian.  Together at last.
