As the two took Veronica home Dawn to raise her. Overall, she turned out to be fine. She was just the sweetest thing, and it gave her parents just another thought to cherish the love they have in life. She grew up to be a well behaved, kind girl. She didn't grow up with much problems as her parents have, which made them feel even more accomplished. Dawn grew to be more awesome than they expected. She grew to be great enough to accept the responsibility of becoming a big sister. So by the time Dawn reached nine, she had no spankings, became one of the smartest kids in her entire school, and she enjoyed the home she grew up in. Times this made Octavian cry in joy. Now Veronica and Octavian in their forties, planned on having one more child before calling it quits for having anymore kids. "Daddy, what's love?" Dawn asked nicely. Octavian answered: "It's the very thing that got you here." This left Dawn confused at first, and this would take her years in her own life to understand what he meant by that. But now at 11, the family was having one more member enter. As Veronica and Octavian go through the process they went through nine years ago, neither one complained of bad treating from each other. But this life that was coming, wasn't as close to smooth sailing as it turned out to be. This time, they had a son, and Octavian named the second child as well. It was a boy. Here he was, King. He was feisty ever since birth. As if he had the heart of a fighter. He grew to be a hard headed child. Got bad grades, and disrespected Octavian and Veronica. Always picked fights with Dawn. Due to his ways, Octavian whipped him occasionally until King was 11. He'd then make him workout till his body got weak. Veronica always approached King with words to speak to him (attempting a different parenting approach), but he'd never listen to her. It was only King that felt misery in the Dove household. He was terrified of his father, and ignored his mother. Along with messing with his older sister. When Dawn left off to college, she was 18. Her parents were of course bittersweet of this coming to be. For a couple of reasons. They seen their first child began their life of success, and she was no longer a little girl. She became a vibrant young woman who made a difference in the world. She dreamed to be a psychologist. But the two also felt the bitter side because the house had one less light to shine in it. One who brought joy. And now Octavian and Veronica had to deal with the darkened child, King (Who only cared about domination and territory).
