I put a dent in on my paper and went to the cafe to eat, Rico dropped by to talk to me I wasn't interested in anything he was saying though . I don't mind being friends but I can tell he wants more, if that's the case then I'll drop him too . I'm trying not to carry an baggage right now, I don't want any loose strings with anybody . I didn't have anything else to do so I went home .

Walked in on my mom breast feeding, Gerald was making dinner, and Hakeem was no where to be found . I try to stay out they way, making sure I'm not an inconvenience . When they go to sleep, it's just myself and Shani . Clearly if we in the same room I'm the first to hear her cry, sometimes I get up and change her or feed just so I can get my ass back to sleep . But in doing that it's like she's my own, I gotten more attached than I wanted .

"What are you doing up ?" my mom came in the room 3 AM

"She was awake, I was awake ."

"You can stop fronting like you ain't just wanna hold her ."

"I'm glad you back, we can rebuild our relationship at the same time we both one with her ."

"Don't worry about me anymore Ma, you got something bigger than me to worry about . I'll get all I need seeing you do better with her, we'll always have something it's not completely gone ."

To be honest I didn't want to hear it, why keep playing the same broken record it's never going to stop skipping . She going to say how she wants to fix it but never does anything but make it worse .

When she put Shani back down to sleep I went to Jermaine's, took him a minute to open the door and get me in .

"Where you been ?" I asked getting in bed with him

"Out ."

"I see your dirty ass ain't shower when you got home, you have glitter all over you ."

"Don't even think about saying it ."

He laughed putting his arm around me .

"I forgot how comforting that was, we haven't done this in a minute ."

"Julius caught himself asking me if we was fucking ."

I couldn't wait to get home, I never slack off when it comes to my school work . That's everything to me and my goal is finishing off strong, I make sure everything is complete before I leave campus .
