The rest of Law Enforcement had just been conversations about the recent abductions and the Jonestown Massacre talking for about an hour and forty five minutes.
Jay stopped at the water fountain, typically after talking with Mr. Gonzales, her throat was extremely dry, making her vocal cords strain.
Wiping her mouth with her jacket, Jay made her way to the class she dreaded all day. Physics. With Patrick Hockstetter.
As Jay made her way up the stairs and into the Science Wing her fingers started to shake and her legs were numbing slowly.
The door of her Physics class suddenly came into sight, her teacher Mr. Sotoma, standing at the door greeting students.
"Good afternoon Jay," Sotoma nodded. "Hey Mr. Sotoma, uhm do we have any new students per chance??" Jay stammered.
Cocking his head back, he pierced his eyebrows together, "Lemme check the roster."
Jay sighed and nodded, "Okay thank you." She continued into the room taking her seat across from Victor at a lab table.
"Hey Vic." She murmured. "Hey." He responded quietly staring into his textbook.
Maybe this whole schedule change was bullshit and maybe he wasn't even coming to class. Jay clenched her fists, preventing them from shaking.
"What are we doing today?" Jay asked Victor. He glanced to the table, taking out his notebook from under the textbook.
'Force and Mass notes'
Jay quickly read the sentence and nodded to him, quickly unzipping her bag taking out her Physics textbook and notebook along with a pencil and high lighter.
After taking her seat and getting started on her notes the bell finally rung. Jay let out a shakey breath, raking a hand through her hair.
He was bluffing, once again Patrick Hockstetter spewed bullshit and Jay believed him.
"I can't believe I actually thought Patrick would be moved into this class." Jay laughed exchanging chuckled with Victor.
Victor nodded smiling, "Yeah.."
His smile quickly dropped into an uneasy expression. Jay frowned, "What?"
Victor quickly dropped his head back to his textbook, resting his hands on his head.
Returning to her textbook, she wrote the header of her notes neatly.
'Force and Mas-'
A slam on the table interrupted her writing, breaking her pencil.
"I knew I'd find you here."
Jay darted her eyes towards the hand in front of her in the table and slowly saw who was connected to it.
Grinning, Patrick looked down towards Jay. "Told you I'd see this piece of ass sooner or later."
Patrick gripped her waist tightly, "Patrick let me go!"
Jay pushed against him, gripping his arm. "No I can't do that lil missy."
"Mr. Hockstetter."
The two shifted their eyes towards the front, "Please have a seat and leave Ms. Sloan alone." Mr. Sotoma peered over the rim of his glasses.
