My Special Grownup

My special grownup is, my mom. After all, she is the one that gave birth to me.  She is the best mom I could have. Her hair is like an illusion. It looks like it is black, but under a beam of sunlight it looks like toffee. It looks like Marilyn Monroe's hair, when styled.

Many of her qualities are instilled in me. Her most favorite thing to do is read. When she is reading, it is like she is in another world. Her concentration on a book is like a game show contestant trying to solve the last question. She often tells me, " When you write, make sure you can transport the reader into the story." "Write with as many details as possible and teleport the reader into the story." This is who I got my hunger for books from. Because of her love of reading, she understands the English language thoroughly.

The best thing to do with my mom is, talk. She has a lot of wisdom, so it is like talking to a decades old cedar tree. The best thing my mom gives to me is, her hugs. It is like being surrounded by a thousand blankets. My mom is always warm. She tells me this is because of a mothers' love for her children. She says the love is like a flame. My mom is the best!
