Bill's POV

I appeared in (Y/n)'s room, like I usually do every night. I changed from that dorky outfit that I wore earlier and got back into my regular clothes.

You may be asking why I'm in my- probably- girlfriend's bedroom. Well, it's not for the reason you're probably thinking, you pervs. I'm just here in case she has a nightmare. If she does, I'll give her another dream.

Speaking of which, she started tossing and turning in her sleep. I walked over to her bed in the old it down, focusing all of my energy on giving her a different dream.

Nothing happened.

I tried, and tried, until I realized that it was hopeless. I shook her slightly, and she jumped awake. "Are you okay, (Y/n)?"

She nodded, her breathing starting to return to normal. "Yeah. At least, I will be." I stood up, and she hugged my chest. "Thanks."

I hesitantly hugged her back. "Uhm, you're welcome?" I chuckled slightly. "Do you want to talk about it?" She buried her face in my jacket. "I'm guessing that's a no."

She sniffed, looking up. "It just felt so... real. One minute, we were on a date, the next you had me pinned to the ground, about to kill me."

I ran my fingers through her soft hair. "It's just your imagination. It's not real. There's no need to be afraid. I'm right here, and I'm not going to hurt you."

She pulled away and stuck out her hand. "Promise?" She wants to make a deal?

I shook it, and our hands ignited in blue flame. "Promise." I let go, and it went away. "Now, go back to sleep." I tried walking away, but she grabbed my hand, pulling me back.

"No. Stay, please. I can't sleep now." She begged. I turned to look at her and smiled. Her eyes were wide, and she held onto me in a protective manner.

"Fine, I'll say." She made room on the bed, and I laid down next to her. She put her head on my chest. "But you need to sleep."

"Sleep is for the weak." She muttered tiredly. I chuckled and kissed her hair. She yawned, stretching a little, before relaxing and closing her eyes. "Night Bill."

"Goodnight, (Y/n)." She fell asleep.

Your POV

You lied. You didn't actually go to bed. You stayed up for a little while longer, thinking about that dream. I was doing magic. Demon magic. I even looked like a demon. You knew that there was a high risk of Bill figuring out that you were asleep, but you didn't care. You had too many questions on your mind.

Was that really me? Do I really have those powers? Am I really not human? Eventually, you drifted back to sleep, your thoughts too much to handle.

When you awoke again, you were happy to find Bill still with you, playing with your hair. He noticed your change in breathing and stopped. "Good morning, doll."

You smiled, stretching a little bit, before climbing on top of him. "Good morning, Bill."

He chuckled. "Someone's feeling better."

You nodded. "Now that you're here. Thanks for staying with me."

"Anything for you." He smiled up at you, and you smiled back.

Suddenly, you heard footsteps coming your way. You jumped off of Bill, and he teleported away. Your dad walked into the room, smiling, "Hey, kiddo. Wanna go to the pool? It's open today."

You nodded. "Yeah, of course. Let me get changed."

"Okay. Meet me in the living room when you're ready." You nodded. and he left the room.

"The pool, eh?" Bill said, startling you. You turned towards the window, seeing him lean against the wall. "Sounds like a nice place to bond with your dad." He looked sad and slightly jealous.

You smiled at him. "It's just one day, Bill. Nothing bad will happen." You walked over to him and pecked his cheek. "Now, leave so I can change."

He smirked at you. "Fine. But we're talking about our second date when you get home."

"Deal." He snapped his fingers, leaving your room for real.
