"Rayn's not a virgin!?" Wicca's an idiot.

"Does Rayn know!?" Coley was just as shocked as I was the first time this news reached my ears.

"No, he doesn't."

"How did you find out?" Avery was back in it now.

"Baby mama."

"Is she not telling him because she wants to abort it?" This came from Wicca.

"No, not at all. She seems pretty...happy." I grinned.

Avery-Grace was on the edge of her seat up until now. "That's a relief." She leaned back, letting her firm posture dissolve.

"I met with her earlier. Her name's Brooke and she's a very very sweet girl."

"Is she young?"

"Nineteen, I'm guessing. Supposedly she and Rayn have been a thing for months. I don't really know why he's never told us about her. With Bex in the hospital now, it's just so much on me. I'm glad I can trust you guys with this sort of baggage."

"Of course you can, honey. We're all here for one another."

"That's good to hear." It was like a couple thousand bags of 80 bricks were lifted off my shoulders. They are my friends, I shouldn't have to doubt them and second guess myself. I went on with the explaining of this mess. "Brooke plans to tell Rayn, I just don't know when. She wants to be the one to tell him and be there for his reaction -whether it be positive or negative- and I support her. A lot of changes are going to be made around here." I sipped on my water and rubbed my temples. Wicca kept shaking his head but never said anything. "What's up with you?" I eyed him.

"Does he not know what condoms are?"

"He probably poked holes in them all." We laughed at that, knowing it was unrealistic. My phone started to buzz and I checked the text message.

Brooke: I'm telling my parents but I really really need you there for moral support.

I informed the group and waited for their opinions to form. Avery- Grace was the first to speak. "I think you should be there for her like she's basically begging for. This is a big thing. Her parents might not react in the best way so you should be there to rescue her emotionally and physically."

"Plus," Coley added, "This could be a bonding experience for you two!" She looked at me excitedly, silently ushering me out the door.

"Fine." I caved in. "I'll ask her for the address." Two minutes later I got the location and a time to be there. "She wants me there ASAP."

"Then go!" Coley stood and took my arm, tugging me out of my seat.

"Hurry!" Avery-Grace was giggling and hiding her teeth with her hand. Wicca was snapchatting. I hate you, Wicca. I was practically pushed out of the door and onto the sidewalk. I guess I'm going with Brooke.

I pulled up to the curb of the address I was given and sat in my car, expecting to wait for Brooke, but she texted me to come inside when she heard my sports car rumbling in front of the slightly large house. Walking up to the front door was awkward but she met me there, opening it. "Hey." There was less enthusiasm in her voice than the first time we met but I could void it off, I understand why. She tucked her familiar purple hair behind her ear and welcomed me inside. Her parents, I'm assuming, were already sitting on an ancient looking couch.

"Who is this, sweetie?" Her mother asked, directing her open hand towards me.

"Her name's Clea," Brooke hesitated and looked at me. "she's my new friend." A grin tugged at the corners of my mouth. "I asked her to be here this evening. We have something very important to talk with you both about." Brooke took a seat on the love chair across from her parents and I followed. She took a great breath before beginning. "Mom, Dad, you know me and you know I'd only do something if I wanted to." Brooke's fingers were trembling so, out of some sort of motherly nature, I slipped my hand into hers. I felt the calm washing over her. Her speech slowed to a normal pace again and wasn't shaken. "I do not regret any of the decisions I have made in the last three to four months. You know I've been with this really sweet guy for that long and you know his true self as well as my own true self." She was drawing this out, stalling the anger or surprise, whatever it is that's to come. To be frank, I'm a tad nervous as well.

"I know Rayn, and I know he'd never hurt a fly. Maybe his best friend, but not even a fly." I stepped up to help Brooke with the reins and she chuckled heartily, but her parents stayed straight-faced. This is just plain awkward now.

"What are you two getting at?" Her mother's voice was stern and empty of compassion. I know where this is going now...and how it will end. Brooke looked at me for guidance.

"Do you just want to be blunt? You've said all that you can to cushion the blow." I winced.

"You're right." She squeezed my hand harder and harder with every word. "Dear loving ol' parents of mine. Forgive me of my sins." My hand felt like it might break from her hold. "But, as luck would have it, I'm pregnant!" The way she delivered the news was legendary, but the reactions we got out of her parents were even more memorable.

Mr. and Mrs. Olsen's mouths dropped open as if they were about to suck my dick. Soon infuriating scowls filled that shocked void. Oh, here we go.

"How dare you, Brooklynn May Olsen!" Her mother stood and came at her to get in her face but I played as the barricade between the two feuding family members. I placed my hand on her chest and held her back.

"Ma'am, you need to calm down. What's done is done." My tone did nothing to help. Her father was now fuming.

"That piece of shit doesn't deserve you! He's a lowlife drug addict, he's just going to leave you all alone with a newborn and we will refuse to help you!"

"Hey!" My blood began to boil. "Don't you fucking talk about Rayn that way!" I was ignored once again.

"This is your mistake and you will fix this!"

"We will fix this!" Her mom screamed. "Get out!" She was wailing at her horrified daughter.

"What do you mean by that?" Brooke kept trying to obtain an answer into her clutches but her parents wouldn't listen. All they focused on was disowning her and getting her out of their home. "What do you mean by that, Mom!?" She repeated again, quite desperately.

Brooke was pushed outside along with myself with only a few words to etch themselves into the inside of her skull forever. "Brooklyn, you're getting an abortion. This is unacceptable." The door was slammed in our faces. Brooke crumpled in my arms.
