"Is it always like this?" I ask uncertainly casting a glance at the entourage we were starting to form as we walked down the street. Louis looks up from his Starbucks cup in surprise, glancing around, causing the girls following us to pause giggling and snap a few more pictures.

"Honestly I don't even notice anymore" he replies with a shrug. I look around hesitantly again; people were just standing there staring at us. People were even stepping out of our way as we walked past. It was a lot different than what I was used to, never having been one in the public eye. That had all changed however when the boys had walked into the studio I interned at. My friend Larissa and I had always joked about attracting the eye of a celebrity during their photo shoot but that is exactly what happened when they came in to shoot their second album's cover. I was still in shock I had been noticed, although seeing a girl in a floral vintage dress, rocking out to her iPod at the buffet table probably wasn't a common sight. But for whatever reason, Louis had come over to talk and something had just clicked. I snap out of my thoughts as my eyes alight on a store nearby.

"Ohh can we go in there?" I squeal excitedly looking at Louis. He laughs at my enthusiasm nodding and I grab his hand practically pulling him into the thrift store. I let go of his hand when we get in and practically skip to the back where the dresses were. I start flipping through the racks, occasionally glancing up to see what Louis was doing. At one point I see him looking at a red and white striped bowtie that looked like it was one of those that the candy man wore and I giggle, attracting his attention.

"What do you think?" he asks jokingly, holding the bowtie up to his neck.

"It's totally you,” I say trying my best to keep a serious face although the smile was flickering near the edge of my mouth. He chuckles, putting it back down and I look back at the racks in front of me, pulling a few items off occasionally. After about half an hour, I'm finally ready to go, and we pay for a few items and leave. Louis pays, claiming it was the boyfriend’s job and it wasn’t like he had money troubles. I reluctantly agree after a few minutes of arguing. I liked being independent and didn’t want other people paying for me, but he was adamant. Wouldn’t even consider letting me pay. He had ended up getting the bowtie, saying his fans would be disappointed if he hadn't gotten the striped garment. I think he actually liked it though and that I'd end up seeing him wearing it a lot. As we step out of the store, I freeze. The size of the crowd had grown. That was the power of the internet these days; one tweet and the whole world knows where you are, and it appeared they'd shown up at the store to try to get a picture of Louis.

"It's ok" Louis says quietly, a smile plastered on his face, as he slips an arm around my waist, looking out at the crowd. I nod my head, not really believing him.

"They don't like me you know" I comment softly, trying to mimic his smile with one of my own. "People think I either broke up Elounor or Larry Stylinson." He frowns, looking away from the crowd and back down at me.

"They are wrong you know,” he says firmly and I nod. I knew, but it didn't make things any easier.

"I know. I just wish they did,” I say.

"Well then" he says a smirk appearing on his face as he glances at the crowd out of the corner of his eye. "We'll just have to make them believe,” he says quietly before leaning down placing a kiss on my lips.
