Maximus -
Pain, hurt, madness, anger, stupidity. How did I let Natalia fool me, use me. I should have never led her on, she was just my mistress. She knew one da wed find our mates. My parents always warned me about witches. "Where is she?!" I asked Adrian with a harsh tone.

"She's gone" I couldn't believe it, She left. "Did you think she stay after you and your Luna abused her? Dragged her, beat her?! She had every right to run. Away, If I didn't release her you two would have killed her!" Adrian roared.

I knew i shouldn't be letting Adrian speak to me in such tone but i felt just as angry with myself. I was loosing my mind. I beat and tortured my mate, I slept with and marked a girl I used to see as nothing but a quick fuck. The man who attacked my mate is free, I still have yet to know who he or they are. My mate is roaming the forest, injured, unmarked, and probably regretting the day she met me.

I went straight up into my room and looked around,this all seems like a nightmare. Why and How did Natalia ruin me? I need to find my mate. I need her, I follow her faint scent around my home which led me outside to our prison, I find myself in the room I gave her after I was put in Natalia's trans, it's a cold hard concrete floor. The room is dark no light. I can smell her scent in this room the most. I can smell her blood. I can't believe I caused her this pain and torment. I need to explain.

My wolf howled in anger, rage, and most of all heartache. I'm a monster, I wish I could kiss her lips one last time, smell her flowery sweet scent,touch her delicate soft skin, but she was gone. I need to find her and explain. I will beg for forgiveness anything she wants, I'll move mountains if needed. I'll drop to my knees if she asks. Anything...

I go quickly to find Adrian and say
"Adrian, find her" he looks at me coldly, but knows his position "Yes Alpha."

"Is there something you'd like to say?" I could see it on his face. He walks towards me and says "Yes, you have no idea what damage you caused her. You beat her, cut her, tortured her poor body. She was starved and nearly recognizable. She's ruined."

With my head in my hands I just stare at the floor. "She's my mate Adrian, I can't let her go."  I said lowly. He just nodded his head and leaves my sight.

I need her, she haunts my thoughts. There's not a minute of the day I don't picture her.
