On our way to the strangers pact, when I ask "Can I at least know your name?" I asked curiously. " I'm Alpha Kyle King. My pack is the shadow seekers." He says with so much pride.
"Why would you bring me to your territory for all you know I could bring you harm." I say in a low tone. "Will you bring me or my pack harm?" He asks curiously. "No!" I respond rapidly.
"Ok" he responds. "So your just going to take my word for it?" I say surprised. He laughs in a husky tone and says "you just fought at my side and didn't just leave me there to deal with it by myself, I'm pretty sure if you wanted me dead you had other options." I stayed silent and just processed what I've been through these past weeks. I don't know what I've done to deserve this. Then he brings me back into reality and asks " Why are you out wondering around alone?" He asks. "No use in lying I guess . I had found my mate and he basically denied me and didn't want me near his pack, so I left." I kept it short but straight to the point. I didn't want him to pity me. "It sounds like there's more and I hope one day you'll tell me. Well my story is my mate was killed by the lonely wolves pack, which were the kind wolves who just attacked us. So I wanted to get a look at my targets." I stay silent feeling his pain. "Well I'm sorry for your loss." He nods. I try and change the mood by adding "I would say we're two peas in a pod" he laughs "you can say that."
He guides me into the pack house and automatically everyone bows. A man walks towards us and greats him."were relived your back Alpha, How was your journey?i see you've brought a guest." He says while motioning his eyes towards me. Looking at me up and down. "Yes, this is Mila, she will be my mate and your new Luna." I was lost for words. I just nodded as he guided me through the land and into the home.
I moved close to his ear and whispered "we need to talk!" He reaches for my hand giving me a reassuring smile... "we will in a bit" He said softly.
