Chapter 8

     Fun in the sun

When class was finished i went immediately to my dorm, i looked through my closet and found my swim suit. It was a simple blue tie up bikini. I put it on grabbed a towel, sun screen, a pair of flip flops and a book. When i arrived down at the beach it appears we weren't the only ones who had plans to come swimming. I looked down the beach for Azura, Jade and Alex and saw them down at the end of the beach. It was pretty much deserted down there. i made my way down the beach i got many dirty looks and many "go away mix blood". But i didn't care. When i got there Alex emerged from the water as i sat down beside Azura who had a one piece green bathing suit. Jade was on the other side of Azura in a light yellow bikini. Alex walked up to me, he was well muscled which he obviously had hid under his shirt and his swim trunks were black with blue. Right now he looked cute, no he looked hot. I felt that strange attraction to him again. Alex said " wanna come swimming? Azura and Jade are too busy tanning to come with me." "Sure, ill come." I got up and ran past him then dove into the water. It was cool and felt good on my body after walking on hot sand. As i surfaced Alex came up beside me. I splashed water at him, like many others in the water were doing, and Alex splashed back we continued splashing water and pushing each other over until Azura called us over for lunch. I went to go grab my towel, as i bent down i saw a foot with red nail polish kick a whole bunch of sand onto my towel "hey!" I said "what was that for!" I looked up and saw the girl with red braids that i met in the cafeteria. "Its for being a dirty blooded little-." She was cut off by Azura coming up and saying "hey, that's not a nice way to treat people Reachel. Just leave us alone. We were just fine with out you." Rea snorted "fine, but just to give you something to remember me by mix blood-." She flexed her hand and a ball of flames shot out of her palm. When it reached me i lept up in the air, arched over and landed behind her. I reached out and pushed my fist against her back. I thought of her flying forward into the water, the purple smoke shot out of my hand and Reachel flew into the water. I stood there watching as she came out of the water. "You! Your a darkness Demon. That's what you are other than a werewolfe." She turned and sprinted down the beach. Alex jogged up now fallowed by Jade "what happened? All i saw was Reachel fly into the water, it was you wasn't it? you shouldn't use your powers unless you need too." I was about to say i know but Azura stepped in "she needed to Reachel attacked her first, it was just self defence." Alex nodded "lets finish up lunch and we can chill here till the sun sets." Me and Alex sat beside each other and ate sandwiches and other snacks that Jade had brought.  As the sun slowly set over the water the beach slowly cleared till we were the only ones left. When the moon became visible we packed up and went back to the main land. Jade and Azura said good bye and went off. Alex walked me to the front porch of my dorm. "Meet me tonight same place, same time." Alex whispered. Feeling his lips that close sent a tingling feeling through, And then he was gone. I stood there wishing he stayed. When i went in i found the  dorm empty. There was a note on out dining room table, from Rebecca. It read

     Hey I'm staying over at a friends dorm, just thought i should tell you. Ttyl

      Rebecca.

I got into the shower not thinking about Rebecca but about Alex. I looked at the clock i had three hours till midnight so i went to sleep.
