Unexpected Love

Chapter 6

Elizabeth's POV
"Please?"

"No."

"Pretty please?"

"No."

"Alec!"

"Elizabeth!"

"Shut up!" Clary snaps at us. "Then tell Alec to do it!" I say but she rolls her eyes and continues walking

"Alec ppllleeaassseee" I beg giving him a puppy face and he gives me a blank look

"Alec can you just do it already so we can move faster?" Jace asks and Alec shakes his head

"Still not happening?" He says and I glare at him crossing my arms. "Fine" I say walking past him and standing next to Isabelle

"El.... Come on" he sighs but I ignore him sending a wink to Izzy who stiffles a laugh knowing what I'm doing

"Are you really going to be like that?"

Yep.

"Elizabeth!"

"Alexander."

"Stop!"

"Stop what?"

"Fine I'll do it!"

"Yay!" I squeal running up to him. "You have to hold my bow and arrows though" he says and I nod as I place them on my back the same way he does

"Come on" he sighs turning around and lowering himself down a bit before I jump onto his back

"Thank you I hate walking with heels" I say thankful that I didn't have to walk and that the dress wasn't short enough to expose any skin if anyone was walking behind me

"Your annoying" he says and I smile. "You love it!" I chuckle as we continue walking to Magnus's lair

"Whatever helps you sleep at night" he says adjusting me on his back a bit as my arms were wrapped loosely around his neck

"You two lovebirds have to stop" Izzy comments sending a knowing smiling. "Leave us be Isabelle!" I say rolling my eyes

"Fine but don't be making out behind us!" She says and I chuckle. "No promises" I wink

"Ok guys enough" Alec says and I poke his cheek. "Buzzkill" I say and he raises his brow at me

"Do you want me to put you down?" He asks and I quickly wrap my arms tighter around him

"No! I'm sorry don't let me go!" I say and he smiles at me. That alone made a weird feeling erupt in my stomach

"Never"

"We're here" Jace says as Alec looks forward. We see a big fence and a glamoured warehouse

"Magnus' lair is right behind that fence." Jace speaks up and Clary looks at the glamour of the warehouse thoughtfully.

"Magnus lives in a warehouse?"

"Not exactly. Warlock glamour. Something's wrong. It's far too easy to get this close. His protective wards must be down." Jace says taking a suspicious look around

"You Don't get in the way."Alec says to Clary while I hop off his back making me slap his shoulder

I'm running looking around for something

A warlock who had pale yellow skin stopped in front of Magnus. "V..Valentine has found us...... We need to evacuate" the warlock pants as Magnus nods

"Get all the warlocks in one room. I'll open a portal then" he says as the other warlock nods

I gasp blinking. "Guys Valentine is insi-" I get cut off by a loud bang inside the warehouse
