Unexpected Love

Chapter 21

Elizabeth's pov
We circled each other for a while and the pain in my hands was unbearable and I hadn't even started

Suddenly the guy growled and lunged at me making me dodge his attack and send a hard kick to his stomach

He grunts before taking a hold of my wrist and twisting it painfully making me wince before he throws my body roughly to the ground my head hitting the floor rough enough to hear a slight crack

My head was pounding but I refused to let valentine win with his plan. Getting up I sent a punch to the guys face screaming in pain while so before jumping in the air and wrapping my legs around his neck twisting my body making him land on the floor

Keeping my legs locked tightly he struggled and tried to pry them off but I sent another punch to his face holding back a cry and waited until he passed out

From the corner of my eye I saw a bright flash of white light and dodged a seraph blade last minute before rolling over and looking up to see a guy smirking at me with two seraph blades in his hands

Quickly rushing towards him I turned my body last second before it connected with one of his blades and took it out of his grasp, something mom had taught me, and plunged it into his leg making him cry out and clutch his wound

Throwing a kick directly at his face I knocked him out breathing heavily as I turned to valentine with the seraph blade in hand

"Well done my child" he smirked clapping his hands. I glared at him as I inched closer and attempted to bury the seraph blade in his chest but he stepped aside and shook his head

"Try that again and no stele for you" he said and I glared at him harder dropping the seraph blade as he handed me a stele

Quickly running it over my iratze I felt everything in my body heal and I sighed in relief tucking the seraph blade in my pocket and picking up the seraph blade

"Now you have a room you may rest in. Tomorrow is going to be big day for you" he smirks as a someone leads me to my room

It was dark and cold with a small bed that had a tiny worn down pillow and thin tiny blanket. The small window had bars meaning I wouldn't escape and I sighed sitting on the hard bed

My child you have gifts and powers that you know nothing of. Get up. I will quite you out of this place

"W-who's there?" I questioned looking around but no one was around and I shake my head

I'm going crazy aren't I?

Shit. Maybe all that pizza had mental effects on my brain

The stele my child. Use it to get out. I will give you an image

Pulling the stele out an unfamiliar tune began forming in my head and I drew it with the stele making a portal pop up

"Holy shit" I whispered before quickly running in it

It portaled me in front of the institute making me smile as I rushed inside quickly. I ignored the fact I just conjured a portal and some weird voice was inside my head as I looked around trying to find someone but I couldn't

Running straight to Alec's room I peeked inside but didn't see anyone so I went into my room only to see a tall figure laying in my bed clutching my pillow tightly

Turning on a light I saw it was Alec and his nose was red and his eyes looked swollen even with them closed

I knew he hurt me and I realized he was getting married in a few days but I couldn't help but brush my fingers across his cheek making his eyes flutter open

"El?" He whispered and I smile nodding. "Is this dream?" He whispers and I shake my head. "I'm here I escaped Alec" I said and he sits up hugging me tightly as he held me as though he'd never get the chance to again

"I was so worried El and I wanted to nursed Jace and Clary myself when they said they had left you behind. God El I don't know what I would do without you" he said and I felt something wet dripping onto my shoulder

Realizing he was crying I pulled away wiping his tears gently. "You won't lose me" I whispered and he leans forward capturing my lips

I ignored every rational thought in my head kissing him back as I clutched his shoulders. He layed me gently down on the bed hovering over me never disconnecting our lips

I tangled my hands through his hair as I felt pure bliss and safety course through my veins

Nothing else mattered right now. Alec was the only thing I could think. I could taste. I could feel.

His hands ran down my sides slipping underneath my shirt and gently gripping my sides

My own hands slid up his back feeling his muscles tense by the movement

His lips trailed down my neck gently biting down on sensitive areas. It was amazing until my brain finally began to function properly

"Alec wait" I said sitting up and he sat up looking at me confused before I hit my lip looking down

"This isn't right you're getting married" j said and his eyes looked so heart broken. "El I-" he began but I cut him off

"I'm going to go find Izzy and let her know I'm okay." I said quickly rushing out and heading to Izzys room

Opening the door not bothering to knock I saw her pacing around with her hand running through her hair

"Hey boo boo missed me?" I spoke up and making her head snap up and she sprinted towards me knocking me down to the floor in a huge hug

"Ow Iz I think you gave me a concussion" I groaned
