Staring at myself in the mirror, I couldn't even recognize myself. My hair was done up in F/h (Favorite hairstyle) on my body held a(n) F/c curve-hugging dress and my face held makeup, not a lot but enough to make my eyes pop out a bit.
I didn't see the girl who always wore jeans and hoodies all the time. I didn't see the girl who only wore long sleeves because I thought I wasn't beautiful and thought I was worthless. I didn't see the girl who cut herself because she thought of herself a disgrace.
Third Person
No. She saw the girl who was loved by Jason and his family and by her family also. She saw a beautiful girl who didn't hurt herself anymore. She saw a strong girl who could take any comment thrown her way, well sorta.
"How I am supposed to do this Jason? What if nobody likes me? What if they think I am...worthless?" Y/n asked her boyfriend, why was she worried? Well, tonight was the night that Jason was introducing his girlfriend to everyone, though this special gala wasn't for aristocrats, more like... Superheroes.
Yes, no superheroes knew about you except for the Bats. You were able to be kept a secret for a long time, which was weird since they are supposed to be a little smart...

You were pacing back and forth now, finally, realizing how many people were finally going to be out there when Jason came up behind you.
"Y/n, you need to calm down, okay?" He said, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind. "Okay Honey, please calm down."
"I-i can't, I'm scared. They won't like me... They will hate me, Darling I don't know what to do." You said tears about to spill from your eyes. Wiping them away without ruining your makeup, Jason turned to face you.
"Honey, look at me-just breathe. You need to calm down, Barbara will kill you and me if you ruined you make up, okay. I am not ready to die again." He said, making you laugh lightly. "So, are you ready to go?" He asked stretching his hand out to you.
"Ready as ever."
