All she wants is freedom. Freedom from the mistakes she has made in the past, the mistakes that can't seem to loosen their grip and let her go. Let her escape her fears and wrongdoings. She sat crossed legged, hands on head, looking down with a pale tear-stained face. She can't even recognise herself in the reflection of her caught tears on the white tiled floor, even though her eyes are blurry, she can't see any resemblance to anyone being there. She can't see anything because of her sadness and woe blinding her every second she has her blue eyes open, they might as well be closed.
Everything reminds her of her past. The scars on her arms; the wounds that are freshly made and last but not least. Her stupid, pathetic porcelain face. Her past actions cloud up any sort of vision she may have of her future, or whether she has one like a thick blanket of pure depression and darkness, managing to cover up any possible sign of normality and happiness before she even reaches that part in time and space. She fears everything. Light, dark, outside world, socialising and most of all. Herself.
She thinks her shadow is constantly trying to hurt her and make her do things she doesn't want too, like a gang of young teenagers peer pressuring innocent minds to do the things they would dare to dream of. The shadow that follows and lurks around every corner and crack in the pavement slabs doesn't just posses her actions, it posses her mind. If she manages to ever see herself with no blurry eyes then all she would see is a reflection of her evil poisonous soul that will never be cleansed, no matter how much pain she's in an puts herself through and the amount of forgiveness from God she has asked for will not cover up her past.
It will only destroy her thoughts.
Her mind and soul.
And her future...
Hope you guys liked the first piece I've posted, I was a bit nervous because of what people might say about it but so what. Someone who's really special to me always tells me "Don't listen to what other people think, I think that you're amazing and you shouldn't change because of those people, they clearly can't see the person I see" So I took his advice and "ran with it".
Seasquirrel- does that phrase remind you of anyone?? ;)
