Natalie has the constant urge to bite people, the people she loves and those people who constantly get on her nerves. She doesn't exactly know why but it always seems to be a habit of hers, most people don't know about it though so the marks on her victims look rather suspicious to anyone else. Everyday her habit seems to get worse, she stays in her safety proof room for hours on end listening to the same song over and over again. She's had test after test after test and nothing out of the ordinary came up, Natalie has been left in the dark ever since and her biting seems to be constantly happening, there's only one person who doesn't mind or care about her biting and that is her boyfriend Sam. The reason he doesn't really care about her biting him and drawing blood from under his skin is because he can't feel it, he instead of biting switches from being on fire to feeling like ice. Neither one of them are like any other person in the world, which is probably why they get on so well. Hand in hand they walk to his house where they can both attempt to study for their upcoming exams but instead the books were open but they weren't being read, Natalie and Sam were just sat on the floor listening to soundtracks from their favourite films.

For hours they sat in the same place and just talked and laughed, with the occasional biting here and there, causing red bruises to appear on Sam's neck but all he could do was laugh because he couldn't feel the indents that Natalie's teeth were making on his thin bare skin. Her big brother came to pick her up from Sam's house because they live too far away from each other to go home by themselves in the dark. When Natalie got home her mum handed her an envelope which was addressed to her and had already been opened. She sighed and said "i'm sorry, we should've told you years ago but we were scared that you would hate us and never forgive us even when we die, which apparently won't be a problem for you..."  Natalie proceeded to open it and inside were dozens of letters wrapped together with a piece of string, she opened them up one by one and they were all urgent notices from the hospital and the doctors that they had found something in her blood which was abnormal and that she needs to have more complex tests.

Her eyes widened in rage and she found one letter that said 'possibility of being a vampire = 90%' that just sent her over the edge. She ran her hands through her long ginger/brown hair and screamed "HOW DARE YOU NOT TELL ME THIS ALL THESE YEARS AGO! I COULD'VE GOT MYSELF SORTED OR AT LEAST KNOW HOW TO HANDLE MY URGES BUT INSTEAD YOU KEEP IT TO YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU WERE SCARED THAT I'D HATE YOU?! Well you're damn right, i'm never going to forgive you. Ever" And just like that a cloud of purple surrounded her and she just disappeared.

Natalie appeared in Sam's bedroom, which she found strange because she was just thinking about him and how she was going to tell him that his girlfriend is a vampire, and whether she'll still be his girlfriend after telling him. She walked over to his bed and shook him, in attempt to wake him up. He started to come round but by the way he talked he seemed to still be partially sleeping. Natalie didn't have time for this because she needed to tell him something serious, she wandered into the bathroom and filled the sink with cold water then cupped both hands together to try and hold some of the water. She walked over to sleepy Sam and threw the water on his head which instantly made him jump "What the hell Natalie! Why are you in my room at 11:30pm?" she hung her head down and sighed then handed him the letter. As he read it she could hear his breathing change in pace.

"You- you're a..." He stuttered in shock

"Yes baby, I'm a vampire..." She whispered.
