The light green emerald jewels that are embedded in the place where his eyes are encapsulate everything that he has ever seen and felt. The most beautiful things tend to be those that have been damaged and have withstood the test of time.
His eyes are mosaics, forgotten to be appreciated for their beauty in contrast to the green of spring. They're heaven and earth in an eternal bond. They're the glow of crystalline waters, glacial melt hues to light a the fire within you, the warmth of cocooning hugs after days of longing. Tell me, how could anyone not understand you, when you're the only one who is capable? Tell me, how they were able to despise you, when you have such a good heart?
The green eyed people are the rarest to find by far, but once found you don't want to let go of the grasp that you have on them because they're too special to let go. I've found that the rarest of people have some of the best stories and that they are definitely someone who shouldn't be looked over at first glance. Yes everyone is special, but the emerald eyed species can be seen as the most valuable.
It's amazing how the difference in the time of day can completely change the way someone looks. When I say looks, I don't necessarily mean the looks of attractiveness which everyone has their own opinion on, for I am talking about how the different amounts of light can change the appearance of ones eyes, as if their emotions change with how the sun rises and falls. As it gets later into the evening, you can see that his once pale green eyes have changed into something a bit darker and more of earthy tones, with the iris constantly changing size to try and take in the little wonders of this world. these are the things that we need to keep a strong hold of because once they are gone, who says that they are ever coming back.
Cherish the small things, don't overlook them.
