At 7:00 am, Addie's alarm woke her up, playing "Fire in the Rain" By Mans Zelmerlow. She groaned and slithered out of her double bed onto the brownish coloured carpet, she frantically tries to press 'stop' on the phone screen so it doesn't wake up everyone else yet. Once her eyes had gained focus, she messaged her boyfriend Sam that she'd be at his house for 9:15 am. Once they got into the car they were off to their destination which Addie had planned to surprise Sam, hoping that he'd like it because they're both as childish as each other.
Addie had no idea how Sam would take it, whether he'd actually enjoy or it or whether he'd say he will just so he doesn't hurt her feelings by telling her the truth. After about a 45 minute drive, they had arrived to the surprise location which was no other than the 'Tropical butterfly house'. They paid for their tickets and entered through the gate hand in hand, pretty much for the entirity of the time they were there, they never let go of each other. They saw many gorgeous animals like otters, lorikeets, bats, meerkats and many many different types of animals. Addie and Sam went round the park at least twice, half way through Addie pressed a button on this interactive kids quiz bored which got Sam soaked. She immediately started laughing but then Sam's reaction was completely different, he seemed a bit upset and it looked as though he was sulking. After the water incident they atill walked tound hand in hand, however Sam didn't say much. This immediately sent bad thoughts into Addie's mind that they could probably break up over it, she immediately felt really bad because she assumed that he'd take it as a joke and laugh at it.
It wasn't until they were both waiting for the bird show in the sun so he could dry off did Sam lean into Addie's ear and whispered "baby...I'm not actually mad or sulking, it's a joke." he said while smiling and giggling, all she could feel was relief.
Needless to say, when they left, hey both knew they had an amazing day and there'd be no doubt they'd do something similar to that in the future.

I know that good friday was a super long time ago but i've been busy with exams and work and revision. The list is basically endless. Sorry it took so long for a new chapter but i'll try and post one on tuesday 7th may and the reason behind that is because it's my 17th birthday that day and that someone who is really precious to me will be there celebrating it with me as well as my amazing friends. Thank you for everyone who reads my work for the support and getting this book to 3780 reads which is absolutely amazing. I'll be back writing when my AS exams are done and i have completed most of my english literature coursework and there will definitely be some over the holidays, his includes an incredibly special chapter which will be dedicated to my boyfriend who's going away for 3 weeks, he has done so much to help me it is the least he deserves but i suppose being in a chapter of his girlfriend's "successful" book may be appreciated.
