Demi's P.O.V

I woke up and saw that Anna and Alex were laying on my sides. We fell asleep last night while telling jokes and me singing a song to them. I slowly woke up and realized that we were heading to Texas today. Couldn't wait to see what my family was up to. I wake up and go to the bathroom. Just as I enter I see a blade on the counter. Like what the fuck. Who had used a blade? OMG I hope Alex didn't. I rush to her and take one of her arms and lifting the sleeve up. Nothing. I do the same to the other side still nothing. "Alex. Wake up please." I hope she didn't do it elsewhere. "What? lemme sleep." She surely is not a morning person. "Did you do anything with that blade last night?" Her eyes widen in terror. Please tell me she didn't do anything. "Actually, I wanted to but I left. I didn't do anything. And I forgot the blade on the counter. But I swear I didn't do anything." I felt relieved. "If you ever need anything please talk to me. If I'm sleeping wake me up. If I'm doing something important interrupt me. I don't care. I want you to be ok. Got it?" she nodded her head. "Got it mommy. Now can I sleep?" but aren't we leaving. I look at my phone and realize it's 4 am. "Yeah sure. Sorry for waking you up." i said. "It's ok. I love you mommy." It feels amazing for her to cal me mommy. I guess I'll go back to sleep an wake up later.

Alex's P.O.V

I woke up again later after Demi waking me up a couple hours ago. Last night I had a lot of flashbacks. I wanted to go and cut. I found a blade but I just couldn't do it. I had to be strong for Demi and mostly my little sis. Anyway I look at my phone and see that it's almost 8 am. I get up and start getting dressed. We are gonna meet Demi's family today and I hope it's gonna be ok. I'm really scared although Demi said it would be ok and that they would love us but everyone has their doubts right? Anyway I decided on wearing a white dress with a floral print and a pink bow belt. For accessory I got a bow head band and a bow necklace and ring. And with that I paired it with a pair of white flats also with a flower print. I like the girly girl look and yes I'm obsessed with bows.

I went downstairs and made something to eat before we head out. Just then Demi and Anna come downstairs complete dressed. They are fast. "Here I made breakfast." I see Demi's face change. "Dems you ok?" she smiles again. "Yeah I'm fine." but she wasn't gonna fool me. I know that look she zoned out. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it right now but I'll talk to her later. OMG I'm talking like I'm the mother here. We sat down and started eating. Anna and me were done while Demi still hadn't finished half of the plate. "I'm bored." said Anna. "Why don't you go to the bouncy castle room?" we both looked at her like she was crazy. "You have a bouncy castle room?" she made a duh expression. "Third floor room number 3. Have fun." Anna smiled and ran off. After she was gone I looked at Demi. "What. I didn't say anything." I rolled my eyes. "I know you didn't say anything you are just not eating." She now looking at me. "I am eating. And who are you to tell me what to do." Okay ouch that was for her own good. I didn't mean anything. "Well I'm trying to ask you what's wrong, but if you don't wanna talk you could just say so and not be so harsh about it. I was trying to help coz I know what your going thorough, I am not much different from you. I have gone through that too." And with that I got up from the table and left. I looked for Anna and found her having fun in the game room. Oh and Demi has a game room too. "Hey having fun there huh? c'mon we have to get ready. We are leaving in an hour." She left whatever she was playing and came and grabbed my hand. "Where's mommy? I mean Demi?" I look at her. "It's ok if you call her mommy as long as you feel comfortable." She nodded at me and we got our stuff all ready and brought them down. I saw through the kitchen door that Demi was finishing her meal still. "You are free Anna you can go back to the game room of you want until we leave but be careful not to ruin your clothes." She nodded and went upstairs meanwhile I headed into the kitchen. "Feeling better?" I asked while looking at Demi. "Yeah. Way better thank you. And what did you mean with 'I've been through this' huh? Care to share?" this wasn't the way I wanted her to find out but anyway. "Well when I was in Italy I got bullied a lot. So I developed self harm and starving myself. That's why my mom wanted me to come here so I would stop. And that helped a lot. I haven't done it since. But as soon as I said the word food this morning you zoned out. I know that something is wrong so now would you care to share?" Demi was looking at me eyes wide open like I was an alien or something. I just stared back at her asking if she was gonna answer or not. As soon as it clicked she came back to earth. "Well when I saw the blade this morning it reminded me of my self harm and stuff. When I saw my reflection I looked really fat and had a nightmare about it. When you said food it looked like the old days were coming back and I didn't want that. I have two daughters that I wanna raise and I'm not doing a really good job at it. It's like we have switched places and it feels so wired. Anyway sorry to worry you earlier. Now let's get ready we are leaving in 10." I nodded and followed her upstairs. After everything was ready, we had closed the house door and were in the car we were ready to go. Anna was so exited while I was freaking out. Max also came with us to make sure everything was ok. Once we were done with all the procedures at the airport we were seated Anna by the window. Demi in the middle and me on the other side of Demi. "I'm so exited to see grandma and grandpa mommy." Anna said still not taking her eyes out of the window. "Same I've missed my family so much." She than looked at me. "I miss my family too. I wish they were here." I said while looking at the ground. "Look maybe your real family is not here with you, but now I'm your family and my parents and Anna are your family. Whatever we do we do it together and whatever we get in we get in together. I love you more than I love my life." I looked at her and both of us were tearing up. "I love you mom." I said and hugged her tight. After that I remember falling asleep.

Demi's P.O.V

Alex and Anna both feel asleep in my arms. They were like two stuffed animals that I was hugging closely and never wanted to let go. Just like the one my dad gave me. After those thoughts I start having flashbacks and fall asleep. When I wake up and look around I realize I'm in an airplane and everything clicks. We were landing and both Anna and Alex were still sleeping. When we landed I slowly woke up Alex and got Anna in my arms. As we walked out and did the same procedures again we were finally in the car and driving to the house. I missed my family so much I wish Alex and Anna feel loved here. I don't want anything to go wrong.
