Alex's P.O.V

It's been almost a week since Demi adopted us. Things have slowed down a bit, thank goodness. Nothing new has happened. Anna still doesn't talk and I have just gone regularly to school like everybody else. We still haven't gone to the 1D concert because I'm still not ready. I'm still in a kind of shock. "Alex you ok?" Demi shakes me out of my thoughts. "Yep I'll just finish my make up and be right down to make breakfast." "You know you can just teach me and I'll do it right?" Demi says with a smile and I giggle. "I think it's easier if I just do it. We can start cooking lessons if u want to." She lightens up and nods with a big smile. "I really have to go to school though. We can start whenever you have free time." "Ok then. I'll be at the studio, and I'll take Anna also so if you need us we'll be there." I nod and head downstairs to make some pancakes. "Hey princess." I hug Anna and she hugs back. Thank goodness she doesn't have anymore nightmares. after I'm done with the pancakes i put them in a plate and on the table. "Demi breakfast ready. C'mon baby girl." that's how me and Demi call Anna most of the time.

"Great cooking." "Thank you." I take the dishes in the sink. I'm gonna wash them when I get back. "Dems I have to go or I'm gonna be late." "Ok but don't forget those cooking lessons you promised." "I won't." I say with a smile. "Bye princess." I say and kiss Anna on her cheek. She just slowly waves. I miss her sweet voice though. Before I left she ran behind me and gave me a letter. When I open it writes ' I vuv you sissy' "I love you way more and you can't deny that." She giggles and goes and snuggles with Demi. "Bye Anna, bye Demi." "Bye Alex." I go outside and see that Alya was waiting for me. "Hello Alex how are you?" "Fine, just a little tired. What about you?" "Same." We just talk all the way to school. I try to avoid questions about my parents or else I'll cry. My house is a 15 minute walk to school. Alya is so sweet, I'm so happy to have these friends in my life. We go in the school and our lockers are next to each other so we hang out together most of the time. "Let's go our acting classes start in 5 minutes." "Ok let's go." As we enter the class we see two girls talking to the teacher. I've never seen them before they must be new. "Hello class, we have two new students today. They are sisters and they're from Alabama. Ok this is Valza and this is Zana. Try to be nice please." they sit right next to me and one of them shoots a glare at me. Valza I think her name was. Anyway I ignore them and concentrate in the lesson. Today our teacher gave us to do an improvisation of out favorite singer. I immediately thought of Demi. I miss her although it's been only a few hours. Finally the bell rang and the next class was singing and it was history themed. Great, not. I don't like history. We had to sing about the First World War. This school is kinda wired. Finally school is over and I head to my locker to put the books in. "Hey." "Oh hey girls." "We are going for ice cream. Care to join us." "Sure be out in a minute." I turn around to put the books in the locker and hear someone behind me. "Hey you feeling better?" I turn around and see Bardha. "Yeah way better. Now let's go for some ice cream whatcha think?" "Yeah let's go." thank goodness she didn't ask me anymore questions.

"Thnx for the ice cream Kate. I have to go to Demi's studio though. She's waiting for me." "Bye Alex." "Bye girls."

Demi's P.O.V

Anna is so cute. She fell asleep when I was rehearsing for my tour. She seems to love the song sky scraper and some other ones from my first album. "Demi you in here?" "Yeah I'm in the studio, don't shout or you're gonna wake Anna." She gets in. "Sorry didn't know." "It's ok. Wanna help me rehears?" "Yeah sure." after a few hours I finally made Alex sing. I've never heard her and I really wanna. "Whatcha gonna sing sweetie?" "I'm thinking about impossible." Wow that would be amazing.

I remember years ago, someone told me I should take caution when it comes to love I did.

I did and you were strong and I was not my illusion my mistake I was careless I forgot, I did.

And now, when all is done there's nothing to say. you have gone and so effortlessly.

You have won you can go ahead tell them tell them all I know now, shout it from the roof tops.

Write it from the skyline, all we had is gonna now, tell them I was happy and my heart is broken.

All my scares are open. Tell them what I hoped would be impossible.

She hit those high notes perfectly. Like a professional. She came out and I saw tear tracks on her cheeks. "Hey come here baby girl what's wrong?" "Nothing, I just miss my parents." "It's ok baby girl. You have me now and Anna." "I know. And I'm really thankful for that." I still can't believe that these two girls are my baby girls. "We have to go home. I'll take Anna. Can you lock the place up please?" "Yeah sure."

"I'll tuck Anna in and I'll come." "Ok." When I lay her down she grabs ahold of my hand and won't let go. I wish I could stay like this forever. I give her her bear and head downstairs. "Wanna watch a movie Alex?" "Oh you scared me. Yeah sure." "What movie?" "How about 50 first dates?" "Good choice." We put the movie on and Alex lays her head on mu lap and we start watching the movie. After a while we are asleep but quickly wake up from some screaming. "Anna" we both shout and run upstairs.
