Rizzles
Jane walked into the squad room, smiling at her partner Barry Frost. "Good morning Jane." He smiled at her. "Morning Frost." She said back, sitting at her desk. "Where's Vince?"
"Him and your mom went on a date last night."
"Why? Why would you put that image in my head?" Jane said rubbing her forehead. Frost laughed then turned back to his computer. Then walked in the beautiful Dr. Isles, that Jane just couldn't seem to take her eyes off of. "Good morning." Maura said happily, then handing Jane a cup of coffee. "Morning, thanks."
"Your welcome." Maura turned to Vince's desk "Where is Sargent Korsak?"
"Him and Angela had a date last night."
"Shut up Frost." Jane grumbled at him. Maura snickered then took a sip of her coffee. "I wonder if the had a good time?" Maura said smirking. "I bet they did. If Korsak is this late."
"Would you to gossip girls shut up." Jane said eyeing them with a warning look. "Good morning." Korsak said walking into the room. Frost and Maura chuckled. "What's so funny?" Korsak asked. "Nothing."
"Oh it's something."
"Maura...."
"Sorry." Maura said sweetly. Jane looked up at the honey blond M.E. and smirked. Maura stuck her tongue out at Jane playfully then turned at walked to the elevator. Jane smiled a little then swiveled her chair back to her desk. Maura got down to her office and put her purse on her glass desk. She walked around into her autopsy room, her heels clicking on the stained concrete floor. She went to her counter and grabbed her computer then went back to her office. Maura sat down in her chair, then Suzy came in. "Good morning Dr. Isles."
"Good morning Suzy."
"Here is the paperwork for the John Doe that came in last week."
"Thank you Suzy, oh and can you get Det. Rizzoli for me please."
"Of course." Suzy walked out and Maura started filling out her paper work. Maura looked up as Jane walked in. Maura couldn't seem to keep her eyes off of Jane lately. "Hey Maura." Jane said smiling.
"Hi Jane."
"So what's up?"
"Oh, nothing."
"Then why did you call me down here?" Maura shrugged and smiled. "Your a weirdo Maura."
"Yes, but I'm your weirdo." Jane smirked at Maura. "Yes you are."
Maura got up from her desk. "Why don't you come over for dinner." Maura said smiling at Jane sweetly. "Sure. Should I go tell my brothers to?"
"No, just you...and most likely Angela." Maura said. "Ok." Jane and Maura talk for a little while, then they decided to go back to there houses because Korsak said they could go home. Maura got home and sat on her couch. 'What am I going to do?' she thought. Maura got up and started to cook. She cooked Janes favorite pasta, and a cheese cake. She finished by seven, just in time because Jane was standing out side her door. Jane was holding a white orchid behind her back. She was still worried that Maura might think she's insane if she tells her how she feels. Jane knocked on Maura's door. Maura heard the knock and became even more nervous. She walked to the door and opened it. "Hi Jane."
"Hi Maura." Jane pulled out the orchid. "Oh Jane it's beautiful." Maura smiled as Jane handed her the plant. Jane felt a little weird, I mean how are you supposed to flirt with a woman. She had never done it before. Maura was worried about the same thing. She and Jane walked into the dining room. "Where's ma?"
"She went out with Sargent Korsak again."
"Ew." Was all Jane could get out, unlike the picture that was stuck in her head. Maura was snickering as she sat the pasta in front of Jane. "Oh you made Rizzoli Pasta" Jane smiled at her. "Yep, I thought you would like that." Maura walked over and kissed the top of Janes head, then she went and sat down with her bowl. The dinner was quiet, not awkward, but nice. The two women would look up occasionally and look at each other sweetly. Jane just couldn't get over how gorgeous Maura looked. Her hair was down, with big curls, she had on a blue blouse with a black pencil skirt. And her heels matched her blouse. Jan was in her favorite fancy outfit. Fitted black pencil skirt, purple blouse and she forced her self to wear my black pumps. Janes hair was down but she had tamed it a little with mousse. Jane was thinking of how to approach Maura about the feelings she had for her. "Maura...."
"Yes Jane." Maura looked at Jane sweetly, waiting for her to talk. "Ok...well I have this friend, and she has feeling for her best friend. She doesn't know what to say to her, because she doesn't know if her best friend feel the same way. What do you think she should do?" Jane said, hoping Maura wouldn't know. "I think...she should tell me the truth." Maura was giving Jane that look, the 'I know what your up too look'. Jane was shocked and she couldn't believe what she had just heard. "How did you know?"
"I just did. I like you a lot Jane, I like you the way you like me." Maura smiled at her and grabbed Janes hand on the table. Janes heart did summersaults. She was so happy. Jane pulled Maura up from her chair and wrapped her arms around Maura's waist. Maura giggled a little then looked back at Jane. "Kiss me." Maura stroked back the brunets hair and kissed her. Maura had butterflies in her stomach when they pulled away. They smiled at each other then Maura kissed Jane once more and Maura giggled. Jane smiled at her new girlfriend and Maura giggled again. She was still a little shocked that it had happen but they where both very happy.
