Maura's POV
Jane came in grinning, and she was holding a file. "Hello Jane, why so happy?" I asked. "I finally found one bad thing that you've done." I snapped my head up at her. "What?" Jane handed me the file and I opened it. "Oh god...how did you find these." Jane snickered. "So you did a bed head add?"
"I was 25."
"And half naked." I looked at the picture with me in blue lace underwear and a skimpy white tank top. "Again I was 25."
"Again you were still half naked."
"How did you find these."
"I have my ways." Jane snatched the file from me. "Jane what are you going to do with those?!" I jumped up and tried to get the file. "I'm gonna get ride of them. Don't worry. I just wanted to mess with you."
"Ok...you better get rid of those.
"I will."
Janes POV
I am so not getting rid of these. I opened the file and looked at the pictures. I snickered. I can't believe she did this. I got up to the squad room and put the file on my desk. I wonder...no I shouldn't think about Maura like that... "Janie can you come down to the coffee shop for a second." Ma asked from the door. "Yeah ma."
Frost POV
I walked into the squad room. Jane wasn't there. I saw a file on her desk and it had a picture sticking out. That must be for the case. I went and grabbed the file and opened it. "Whoa..." Is that doc? And why does Jane half naked pictures of Doc. I kept looking through the picture. "Dang...docs got a nice-"
"Nice what Frost." I heard Jane. I closed the file and Jane snatched it from me. "What are you doing snooping around my desk."
"Why do you have these pictures?"
"I was messing around with Maura."
"Obviously but what's with the pictures." Janes punch my arm and I chuckled.
Janes POV
"She did a bed head add when she was 25. She didn't want anyone to know. But I found the picture. I thought it was funny."
"It's not funny," frost said smiling "it's hot." I punched his arm again. Then I heard familiar heels clicking on the concrete floors so I shoved the file in the drawer. I turned around to see the beautiful doctor walking into the squad room. "Hey Maura."
"Hi Jane. I was wondering if you would like to go and get some lunch."
"Sure." I started from the door behind Maura. I turned and smirked at Frost then winked. "Lucky." he mouthed. I snickered then followed Maura to the elevator. Maura and I stood next to each other in the elevator. "Frost saw the pictures." I blurted out. "What!?!?" she said.
"Ma called me down to the coffee shop so...I accidentally left them on my desk. He must have thought the file was for the case."
"Jane...I can't believe you left them on your desk. Do you know how embarrassing this is." the door opened and I steppe out. "I know I'm sorry."
I turned to see that Maura hadn't stepped out of the elevator. "You know I'm not really that hungry." she hit the close button and the doors closed. "Maura..." I face palmed my self. Why do I have to be so stupid sometimes. I went back up to the squad room. Frost, Korsak, a few other officers, and Frankie where looking at the pictures. "Dang..." Frankie said. I stomped over and grabbed the photos. I put them in the shredder and the other officers hid behind Frost, Frankie, and Korsak. "Guys! Maura is our friend. How could you do that." I snapped.
"Sorry Jane...your right."
Frankie looked up. "Uh Jane..." he pointed behind me. I turned to see Maura standing there. She started crying and ran off. "Maura wait..." I walked out to the hall way but she was gone. I flipped around and they had scattered. "Ugh could this day get any worse!" the work day finished. I hadn't seen Maura since she ran off. She looked so heartbroken. I opened Maura's door slowly. I heard crying from her living room. "Maura...sweetie, I'm sorry. But I'm sure Jane didn't mean for it to happen. She just jokes around like that." Ma said. "How could I trust Jane now though. I never wanted anyone to find those. They are embarrassing."
"How are they embarrassing. Let me see."
"No..."
"Maura, come on let me see." Maura scuffled. I heard clicking on her computer. "Maura, how are these embarrassing, you look fantastic."
"But I don't want everybody at BPD to know what I look like half naked."
"I know baby...but it was an accident."
"I know..."
"Here, I have something that might make you feel better."
"What?" I heard clicking keys again. "Oh my gosh is that Jane."
"Yes. I made her get into modeling when she was 20. She did it for about 2 years."
"Are there more?"
"Tones. She had about 100 jobs in two years."
"That's good. Well I have a confession..." Maura paused. "I modeled through out my 20's. Just for fun."
"Now you have to let me see those."
"Good thing I have a file on my computer with every picture I ever had taken in my modeling days on it." I walked through the door and into the living room. "Id like to see some." I said quietly. "Hello Jane." Maura said. "Hi..." Angela got up with Maura's computer and went down the hall. I walked over to the couch. "Maura..."
"Hmm?"
"I'm sorry sweetie. That was a stupid joke."
"..." I scooted closer to her. "Please say something thing, I'm so sorry." Maura looked at me and her eyes where filling with tears. I stroked her hair back. "Maura I don't know what to say..."
"You...can say that you love me to much to lose me. And that you will never try anything like that again. You also could say that...I'm a good friend for not killing you with my scalpel." I smiled. "Well you are a very good friend, I'll never do that again...and I love you. Your to beautiful and perfect to lose, I think your so goofy and fun to be with. I love how sensitive you are. I especially love your pouty face, it's pretty adorable." Maura's smile was priceless. she put her arms around my neck and kissed me, pulling me down on the couch on top of her. My arms went around her waist. When we pulled away and smiled I heard snickering behind us. "Ma..."
"Hmm?"
"Why do you gotta ruin moments? You did the exact same thing to me at my senior prom and scared my date of." Maura giggled. "You won't scar me off Angela."
"Good." she said. Then there was a knock at the door. Maura crawled out from under me and went to the door. "Yes-" she said but was stopped by the site at the door. It was all the officers, including Frankie, frost and Korsak, who saw the pictures standing there each holding a red rose. "Boys...what's all this."
"It's our apology to the best M.E. BPD could ask for." Maura smiled and looked back at me. "Did you know about this ?" she asked. I nodded. "It was my idea." with in an hour Maura had arranged her new roses. "That was so sweet..." she said as I walked over next to her. "They felt really bad about making you cry. No one likes to see you cry. it's heartbreaking." Maura giggled. "Do I really look that pitiful when I cry."
"No...your just so adorable, it hurts to see this sweet beautiful creature upset." Maura put her arms around me. "Your such a push over Jane. Your never going to be able to say no to me."
"Sadly no... That means a lot of shopping and dress wearing." Maura giggled. "I love you."
"I love you too."
