Maura's POV
I walked out of BPD, headed to my car. "What is taking Jane?" I asked my self as I turned. There was a man behind me. He pulled out a knife and I screamed and tried to run. He grabbed the back of my dress and pulled me back, sending the knife through my back. I looked down and saw the other end sticking out of my stomach. "Maura-" then it all went black.
Janes POV
Maura fell to the ground and I ran to her. "Maura! Maura! Please wake up." I stroked her cheek then looked down and saw the knife. "HELP!!" I called to the officer on the steps. I leaned down to Maura and held her close to my chest. "Your going to be okay Maur, don't worry. You just hold on." I kissed her forehead and the bridge of her nose. When we got to the hospital they took Maura strait into surgery. I waited for hours then a doctor came out. "Are you Maura's family?"
"Yes yes is she ok?"
"There were some complications, but she's fine now."
"Can I see her?"
"You can. She's in room 324." I ran up to her room. Maura laid there with machines beeping around her. I went over to her bed side and sat in a chair. I held her hand and kissed her knuckles. "Maura...sweetie." I kissed her palm. Hours later I woke up to beeping machines and Maura was shaking. I pressed the 911 button on the bed and nurses came running in. "What happening to her!?" I screamed. "She's tachycardic we need to get her into an OR now!" Yelled the doctor. I started crying again and I sat down. 5 hours later I was snapped awake when the doors of the room opened and Maura was rolled back in. "Maura." I said standing next to her bed. "We fixed the complication and she should wake up with in a few hours."
"Thank you." I sat down again then fell asleep on accident.
Maura's POV.
I opened my eyes and looked over and saw Jane with her head rested on my arm. "Jane..." I said. I pulled my arm free and she still was out. She's had to have been here for hours. I nudged her and she shot up. I smiled. "Hi Jane."
"Oh Maura, you are awake. I was so worried." Jane got up and kissed my forehead. I smiled. "Jane...lay down." I said weekly. "Maura I don't want to hurt you."
"You won't." I said quietly. Jane laid down next to me and I laid my head on her shoulder. Jane kissed my head and I smiled.
A week later
Jane helped me into the house and sat me down on the couch. "Thank you." I said pulling Jane down next to me. "Be careful Maura." I said lifting her shirt and checking her staples. "They are fine." I said taking her hand into mine. "You...Detective Rizzoli are very very sweet for caring so much." I put my arms around her neck. Jane looked at me strangely. "What are you doing?" Jane asked giving me a look. I smiled and gave her a peck on the lips. Jane looked at me with wide eyes. "Has your pain Meds worn out yet?"
"Haha yes they have." I chuckled. "So you...are for real right now?" Jane asked with a slight smile on her face. "I am." I said. Jane broke out into a smile and I smiled back. I gave her one more kiss, savoring the way her lips felt against mine. When we pulled back I got up and headed to the kitchen. "Where are you going?" Jane asked. "I'm getting some water." I said looking back at her. Then I ran into the counter and felt pain rip through my stomach. I looked down at the blood seeping through my shirt and started to feel dizzy.
"Jane..."
