-Gabby-

I'm sure we all have those moments where we fell like we are falling apart. I mean I'm sure it happens to the best of us.

But in one moment it took me 5 seconds to fell my heart fall. The mere thought to make me lose my mind.

"You okay." My boss asked.

"My boyfriend." I said "Someone's taken his work hostage."

"Is he okay." He asked.

"I'm not sure." I said "It's all over the news."

"I'm sure it'll be fine." He said "Maybe your parents can check in."

I tried to sit down and do my work but I just couldn't.

"Heading our early." He asked.

"I have to make sure he's okay." I said.

"No problem." He said "I'll see you Monday."

"You too." I said as I smiled softly and I left the building.

Turns out I wasn't the only one. Lots of people were here including the police. I mean that was obvious.

"You can't go in there." An officer said.

"My boyfriend is in there." I argued.

"So is someone else's son and someone's wife." He said "You can wait over there."

I could have very well argued but I sighed.

"If my boyfriend gets hurt and you don't let me back there I will have your head." I said.

"Sure You will." He said.

I raised a eyebrow getting his name in my head.

"I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself have I, my name is Gabby Blake." I said "Like Sarah and Jeremy Blake."

"Blake incorporated." I said as he looked up at that "That's what I wanted."

"Doesn't mean anything." He said.

"Tell that to my mother." I replied as I walked away and I huffed.

He rolled his eyes as I took a deep breath. Sending a quick yet quite angry text to my mother.

Who had said she was on her way.

"Gabby." Mom said "What's happening."

"What do you think is happening." I said.

"It's an open negotiation." She said "They can't just let you in."

"I just need to know he's okay." I said.

"Okay." Mom said "We will know when it possible."

I just couldn't think straight at all. I don't know how long it was until the door had slowly opened.

It wasn't Alex and it made me just as anxious.

"It's okay." Mom said "It'll be okay."

"It's not okay, what if he gets hurt." I said.

"He'll Be Okay." She assured.

"And if he isn't." I said "He can't just die."

She wrapped an arm around me as I felt someone near me.

"Hi Dad." I said softly as he set a coat over my shoulders.

"It's going to be alright." Dad said "I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep Dad." I said softly as he wrapped his arms around me.

He pressed a kiss on my head. His arms pulling me into his torso and I didn't fight.
