Life is just full of surprises. Good surprises. Bad surprises. With as little as one word your life can be ruined. Or as many as one thousand. It can still be ruined. If not ruined, changed. At least everyday someone life is ruined or changed. Everyday your life gives you a startling surprise. Everyday, lately, my life gives me a stupid, shocking, crazy surprises, so far all bad. All bad. Not one good thing has happened since we moved. God, nothing good has happened since Marty lied about Mom.

Mom.

She's still alive. She's back in my life. I just wish she never left it.

OK, one good thing happened. Mom is back. But can one SUPER good thing weigh out all the little bad things?

Little? Did I just say little bad things?! That's just terrible. Marty lied about my moms death! I lived two lives for more than half my life! I lied to my friends. I lied to everyone. I found out I had a TWIN SISTER that I've never even heard about!! Named Nancy! Nancy, of all names!!! I didn't even know that Marty had a wife. Sure, I knew he had a few girlfriends over the years but nothing serious like a wife! One he really loved! I guess just not enough to sort of elope with, I guess. I hope, oh how much I hope he won't break down like Paul did because now he's finally found his adventurous wife but she's with someone else!

Speaking of which, Marty asked Mom to explain everything. He almost pleaded. So then we found out that she is marrying the guy, that she forgot all about Marty, and that she is having a baby.

Repeatably, I say, surprise after surprise after surprise.
