you're okay: a short story

"you're okay", they said while smiling at you, "you can be fixed, just take these pills."

You stare at them confused,

You only talked to them about how you felt,

How desperate you are to stop feeling sad.

Yet, these pills are supposed to cure you.

You don't believe it and you refuse the pills, pushing them away slightly.

"take them," they urged once more, you still refuse. Not wanting to take the pills they were eager to give you.

Next thing you know, you are held captive by two men in white suits, and pills are shoved down your throat. You thrash your body, wanting to be free. Screams then escape your lips with the breath you have left in you.

Your mind then goes into a blur and you black out. When you wake you are in a room in all white. Nothing but a bed was in it.

You look over at the door and the person before stares at you and begins to smile.

"You're okay. You will be okay."
