the beginning

There is a beginning for everything,

My love for literature was always there,

I've read many books, I even have several piles in my room

Then it slowly ignited my freshman year,

It was thanks to my teacher who talked about mythology,

And for an assignment he wanted us to write our own story,

That little short story then turned into a 3 book series,

Which may I add, was horribly written,

Today I still have the paper version of it too, neatly organized in a folder.

My sophomore year I resorted to writing poetry,

My junior year I decided to make a book,

Which may I add I started during my sophomore year,

My senior year I decided to make another,

And now, I have written more than I could possibly count,

I have created fictional lives that people enjoy reading,

I've been writing for 5 years and I have progressed in 5 years,

Thanks to my literature teachers I have indulged myself in writing,

They have taught me many things too,

Without them, I wouldn't be writing,

Or even putting my works out to where everyone can see them,

This is my beginning,

It doesn't have an end yet either,

Because I am still,

Writing my never ending story
