Love Triangle (A R5 and Austin and Ally Fanfiction)

Chapter 8

We were the first ones there; I hadn’t noticed how early we were. It was only 9.30. Everyone else wouldn’t be here for at least another fifteen, twenty minutes or so.

Once we were inside Ross said “We’re really early. Do you wanna go get changed now or wait until everyone else gets here?”

“I think I’ll get changed now.” I said wanting to take advantage of the empty changing room.

“OK then.” He said and walked over to the boys changing room. Before he pushed the door, he turned back as if he was going to say something, but before he did, he turned back the door and went in.

I went into the changing rooms then, relishing the fact that I could change without anyone watching me. I put my bag down on one of the benches in the middle of the room. At first I didn’t really feel like getting changed, so I sat down and played a game on my phone. After a few minutes I decided it was time to get changed.

Just as I was finishing, I heard the door swing open. I looked up to see jade coming in carrying a gym bag over her shoulder.  At first she didn’t seem to notice I was in the room. So I said “Hi” she looked up when I said this.

“Oh!” She said coming further into the room and putting her bag down next to mine on the bench. “Hi, sorry I was daydreaming.”

“What were you thinking about?” I asked not sure if she’d tell me or not.

“Nothing important.” As she said this, her checks went bright pink. This was what gave me the clue.

“Ooooo,” I said I a slightly mocking tone “You were thinking about a boy!”

“No I wasn’t!” she said too quickly.

“Yes you were! Do I know him?” I      said this and realised I probably didn’t, seeing as I only knew the people from the studio. I was about to say this when Jade said “Maybe.”

“OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD its Cody isn’t it?”

“What gave you that idea?” She asked now scarlet.

“Oh, come on it’s so obvious your into him.”

“Really? Is it that clear? I’ve only known you a day and you’ve already figured it out.”

“I figured it out the moment he walked into the room yesterday.”

“Oh god!” she said putting her head in her hands.

“What’s wrong?”

I asked worried that I’d upset her.

“If my feelings are that clear to you, what are they like to Cody?”

“I don’t know. I haven’t really spent much time with him.”

“What if he knows and he doesn’t feel the same way? What am I gonna do?”

“Don’t worry about that. I’m sure he feels the same way.”

“Really? How do you know?”

“You can see it every time he looks at you.”

“Do you really think so?” she said moving her hands away from her face.

“I’m positive.” She stood up at this and gave me a big hug.

“Thank you.”

“For what?”

“For helping me with a tough decision!” she let go then and started pulling her dance clothes out of her bag. “I better get changed” she said.
