The first thing I remember registering was the amount of people packed into the dance floor and surrounding tables. I made my way through the crowd, noticing I knew hardly anyone. I finally found Mia and Jade over by the stage. The moment Mia saw me; she waved energetically and called "Hey Ariel."

"Hey Minnie." I called back, figuring that we were calling each other by our character's names. "Hey, Rapunzel." I said to Jade, coming closer to them.

Jade swept the floor length blonde wig over her should as she turned to face me. Her dress was exactly like the cartoon's, right down to the bright green chameleon perched on her shoulder.

"Wow!" She exclaimed "I love your dress."

"Thank you. I love yours too." I told her, smiling brightly. Looking over at Mia, I remembered the whole reason for this party and the present in my hands.

"Happy Birthday." I cheered and handed her the gift wrapped box.

"Thank you." She said as I leant over and hugged her.

After a few minutes of talking about our costumes and what Mia had got for her birthday, I asked "Have you seen Ross, I wanna show him my dress."

"Last time I saw him, he was by the bar but that was about 10 minutes ago."

"Okay." I said, now looking in the direction of the bar "I'll start there. See you in a bit."

"Bye." I heard them say as I pushed my way over to the front of the club.

It turns out; Ross had moved away from the bar out onto the dance floor somewhere. I had a rough idea for what I was looking for as I knew he was coming as Hercules.

By the time I found him I was starting to get tired moving through crowds of unknown people and was just relived to see a familiar face.

"Oow, there you are!" I signed in relief the moment I saw him and the rest of his family. He looked around and it took him a few seconds to realise where my voice was coming from but when he saw it was me a wide grin spread across his face.

"Hi." He said "I was wondering when you where gonna get here."

"I've been here for half an hour but I've spent at least half of that looking for you."

"Yeah, I know there are a lot of people here. I wasn't expecting so many."

"Hey Guys." I said to the others as Ross put his arm around my shoulders.

I loved the way Ross's costume hugged his perfectly shaped frame and emphasized his biceps amazingly. His siblings on the other hand were a totally different kettle of fish. They had come as the Avengers. Riker was Iron Man, Rocky was a dark haired Thor, Ryland was the Hulk, Ellington was Capitan America and Rydel was Black Widow.

"Loving the Superheroes." I marvelled "But you're missing an archer."

"Yeah well, we decided our costumes months ago and then someone," Riker told me and pointedly looked at Ross "said they wanted to go as Hercules."

"Huh, too bad." I said airily. "I've always liked a man with a bow." Ross looked a little disappointed.

"Oh dam if I'd known that, I wouldn't have switched."

"Oh well maybe I would have let you save me but now we'll never know." I was only teasing him but it was still fun.

"Yeah, well I'm a God I can save you better than I could have any day of the week as Hawkeye."

"Very true." I agreed. "I think I prefer the God to the superhero." And I couldn't help by laugh a little.

"Good!" Was all he said before he very quickly pulled me close and kissed my lips. I didn't even care that his family were there.
