You Aren't In Charge Of Me

I didn't get a lot of views for the first chapter! I expected that because this is my first fanfiction! I would really appreciate people's thoughts. I know that I'm not very well known, yet, but please review! By the way that's Rose's tent! XoXo- Rukhsanna

I smiled at Adrian and put a hand on his hand. If Dimitri didn't want me, then why should I keep fighting for him when I have a guy right next to me who really wants me? I leaned in and kissed Adrian's jaw. Adrian was very surprised, but of course was too distracted by my kisses to ask my what was going on.

"Damn, Rose and Adrian. I didn't know you two were a thing. You're practically fucking each other with your mouths," Viktoria said.

"Viktoria, language!" Dimitri scolded her. I looked up at Dimitri in the mirror, and he was looking at me shaking his head. He whispered a few things under his breath and then looked away.

"I knew you two would get together eventually," Lissa smiled. "Rose hasn't even kissed anyone since the whole thing with Jesse. Unless you two have been sneaking around-," I cut Lissa off before she could finish.

"No. We haven't been sneaking around. But today I realised, why wait? I have a guy who actually wants me. And Adrian, you are an amazing guy," I said leaning into him, and gave him a kiss on the lips. He moaned, but I pulled away not wanting to go to fast with him. I knew my heart belonged to Dimitri, but Dimitri and I could never be together. And that made me want to cry, or kick someone.

We pulled up in a gas station and Dimitri told everyone to go to the washroom and that him and Alberta were going to get dinner for everyone at the burger king across the streets. About twenty other guardians drove up and got out of their vehicles to make sure the Moroi were safe from any threats. The novices could also protect them.

"Little dhampir, do you want to go to the washroom for a minute?" Adrian asked me, kissing me softly on the neck. "You don't have to if you don't want to," he quickly added.

"No, I'm okay. I'd rather just stay out here where I can protect Lissa," I told him. I was making up an excuse because I didn't want to take it to the next level with him. I wasn't ready. I did end up going pee. But I made sure Adrian didn't follow me in. Viktoria followed me into the washroom and went into the stall beside me.

Once we were done, we just stood in the washroom for a bit. "That Eddie guy is really cute," Viktoria smiled. That made me smile. Did she have a crush on Eddie. Honestly, they'd be the cutest couple.

"Do you like him?" I asked her leaning up against the wall.

"No--yeah, I don't know," she sighed. "It must be easy for you to get a guy. Your drop dead gorgeous," Viktoria said, sounding jealous of me.

"So are you," I smiled. Viktoria blushed, but she dropped the topic not wanting to talk about Eddie anymore. We walked out of the washroom when a bunch of preppy Moroi girls came in. Even Viktoria rolled her eyes when the girls screamed in excitement.

Dimitri and Alberta were handing out burgers and fries. Viktoria went to go get a burger from Dimitri, but I didn't feel very hungry. I went back in the bus and just sat there, staring at Lissa and other people. I didn't realize it, but Dimitri walked into the bus and stood above me with a burger and fries in his hands.

"Rose, you didn't grab any food. Eat," he said trying to pass me the burger and fries. I shook my head.

"I'm not hungry. My head is killing me." I told him. He bent down and felt my temperature. He sighed.

"You don't have a fever, but please eat something?" Dimitri pleaded.

"Look, Dimitri," I said a little harshly. "I said I'm not hungry. Can't you just leave me alone for once?" I snapped. "Right now, you aren't in charge of me. You're just the bus driver." I looked away from him. I didn't like the look he was giving me. I knew he was surprised by my sudden outburst. He had it coming. Dimitri sighed.
