Hello, my fellow readers! I would like to hear all about what you guys think about my book. Lately, I haven't been getting a lot of comments or rates. I would really appreciate those if that's okay.

"Dimitri," I yelled as he pulled me towards the school. He was taking me to Headmistress Kirova's. By now, everyone was awake because of the commotion at the party. Kirova would be yelling at students in her office right now and that's what's going to happen to me... fun.
I decided I would fall to the ground so it would stop Dimitri from walking. Dimitri stared down at me and shook his head. I crossed my arms and glared at him. I was very out of it. "Get up or I will bring Headmistress Kirova to you and you'll be in even more trouble," he said surprisingly calm. I groaned and stood up slowly in an overdramatic way.
Dimitri walked very quickly to Kirova's office and I could barely keep up considering my bad situation being drunk. Once we got to her office, we sat outside of it as we heard her yelling her annoying head off at other students. After I came in, other students followed waiting to talk to Kirova to see what consequences they're going to receive. Ten minutes of sitting there, five students walked out with their heads down in shame. There was no way in hell I was going to look like that when I walked out, I was too proud.
"Miss. Hathaway, please come in," she said with a sharp tone. She looked really tired. For once, her hair was down and she wasn't wearing much makeup. This must've woken her up but that's something I didn't care about. I really disliked her. Before I ran away from the academy, me, Mason and Eddie went to where Kirova slept and threw rocks at her window and ran away really fast.
I followed her into her office, tripping over my feet a little bit because of how I was still a little drunk. Dhampir's usually get sobered up really quickly, but it takes Moroi's longer. "Sit down, Hathaway," Kirova said pointing to the chair in front of her. I sat down rolling my eyes and Dimitri sat down on the seat that was beside me.
For about a minute, Kirova just sat there staring at me shaking her head and then she spoke. "What am I going to do with you, Rose?"Kirova sighed. "I've tried detention, no extracurricular, extra practice sessions with Guardian Belikov. What am I supposed to do now? I'm out of options and I'm sure Dimitri is sick and tired of your behavior."
I turned to look over to Dimitri who had his 'guardian mask' on. I couldn't tell what he was thinking. I started to worry she was going to kick me out of the academy and it would be all my fault. And Lissa will never have the full protection she needs if I'm not around.
"Guardian Belikov, what do you suggest we do with Miss. Hathaway?" Kirova asked him. He turned to me and stared into my eyes. I think I looked like a desperate little puppy that really didn't want to be kicked out of the academy.
"I'm not really sure either. Miss. Hathaway will make a great guardian one day when she matures and realizes that going to secret parties that guardians don't know about, especially without the guardian protection that was needed for the Moroi. She endangered many people tonight by not mentioning this party to me or another guardian," Dimitri said. Wait. Why was this all my fault? There were many other Dhampir's there, it's not just my fault! I didn't even organize the party.
"Miss. Hathaway, I think I have a great solution for you," Kirova smirked.
"A solution for me? It sounds like you guys are saying I'm just a weight on everyone's shoulders no one wants," I snapped getting annoyed at them. I didn't want to sit here hearing how much they think of a problem I am. I'm not always a problem... I can be helpful and nice. I have a lot of friends...
"Sometimes you can be," Kirova hissed. "Your behavior is completely unexceptionable. You have one of the worst records here at St. Vladimir. And I think I have just the right thing for you to do with guardian Belikov for a couple of weeks." She was really enjoying this. She also had something really stupid up her sleeves. "You will be going away with Dimitri and one other student, of mine and Dimitri's choice, to travel around to see other academy's, to the courthouse where the queen works and lots of training. I want you to get out of this that being a guardian is an extremely important job and when you see how other guardian's and novices act, then maybe you'll mature and act your age."
My jaw dropped and Dimitri moved into his seat seeming uncomfortable. "Are you insane?! I'm not leaving Lissa here alone. I don't trust this school to protect her as I can. I'm the only one who can! This is so freakin' stupid!" I yelled standing up in my seat. Dimitri instantly reached out and grabbed my arm.
"Sit down," he said in a scary tone that made me sit instantly. He made me feel as though I was a child sometimes. I wanted to yell 'no' but I knew that wouldn't help my situation so I just crossed my arms over my chest while shaking my head. "Are you sure this is going to help Rose?" Dimitri wondered.
"If it doesn't, I will have no choice but to expel her from the academy for good. She'll have no chance of becoming a guardian so she'll end up doing a job she hates," Kirova said. She probably thinks I would become a blood whore if I wasn't a guardian.
"This is so stupid!" I said having a little outburst.
"Rose. Stop yelling and talk like an adult," Dimitri demanded. "You will do as Kirova and I say with no arguments. This is your last straw, Rose. Take the chance and show us you want to be a guardian," he said giving me advice.
"When will we leave?" I asked.
"I've already booked the plane ticket just now. You will be leaving with Guardian Belikov and one other student tomorrow morning a six. You'll be going to Russia, the Academy St. Basil's. I believe that is where Bwlikov went," she said giving Dimitri a little nod. "You will be sleeping at a hotel because they have no more room left."
"Wait, how would you know that? We literally started planning this five minutes ago. You didn't call them to ask," I said annoyed. "Have you been planning this for a while? Were you two just waiting for me to mess up?" I hissed. I just want to leave this stupid office and go to sleep.
"We didn't think it was actually going to happen... but now that this incident has come up, it will happen," Kirova said.
"So which student is coming with me on this stupid 'life-changing' journey?" I asked sarcastically.
"Eddie Castile. He is a model student that has never once gotten himself in trouble. Besides when he left the skiing lodge without permission. But we have forgiven that," Kirova said as if it was no big deal. They clearly haven't forgiven me for that even though I went after Eddie, Mia, and Mason to save them. Eddie was one of my best friends so I was more than okay that he was coming. If I had to choose any novice to go with, I would choose him without a second thought.
"Okay," I said pretending not to be happy about it so they wouldn't change their minds because I liked Eddie. I'm also happy about sleeping in a hotel room because that means I get my own room because I'm the only girl. Eddie and Dimitri will probably have to share which will be awkward for them. I think Eddie feels intimidated by Dimitri because he's such a serious, strong guardian. A lot of people fear Dimitri, they call him a 'god'.
"Make sure to pack everything you will need. You only have a couple hours of sleep and the plane ride is ten hours. So, you can sleep then as well," Kirova informed us. I nodded. "Alright, get going and I'll see you when you come back in three weeks." She said.
I stood up and left the room with Dimitri following behind me.
"This will not be a vacation for you or Eddie. I know you will assume that you can have a free pass but with me around, that's not going to happen. And, we will all be getting our own hotel room for privacy. They'll all be right beside each other so don't think about sneaking off or doing anything dumb because I will know right away."
"Whatever you say, comrade," I yawned and headed back towards my dorm to pack and get some sleep. Dimitri went in the other direction to his room that's on the opposite side of the academy.
Tomorrow is going to be a long day...
