I'm sorry it took me a while to update! I have had a lot of school work to do! I've worked hard on this chapter and please  give me some feed back. Take just ten seconds and tell me if you like it or not. And let me know what you've liked about it and what I could work on.

I gasped.

Standing right in the crowd staring at me was Mason. Mason my best friend who had been killed by a Strigoi right in front of my eyes. How is he here? I watched him die! Dimitri noticed me staring at something and looked at the direction I was staring at. Could anyone else see Mason? Am I going crazy? Dimitri glanced back at me confused.

"Rose? What are you staring at?" He wondered. I didn't respond. I couldn't take my eyes away from Mason. Lissa and Vicktoria were staring waiting for me to answer but I couldn't get words out.

"Your right, I should go rest for a bit," I finally said when Mason disappeared. I blinked a couple times making sure everything was real.

I stood up and Dimitri and everyone else watched confused as I walked back to my tent. For once, I had nothing to say. It's not like I could say, 'hey, I'm fine, I just saw Mason. You know the boy who is dead?' No. I couldn't say that. People would say I was insane and I would never become Lissa's guardian. Dimitri would be too embarrassed to be seen with me. It would ruin me. Guardians who become insane are never offered another job again and end up becoming blood whores because they were so desperate and have no other options. I couldn't let that happen to myself

I slipped into a tank top and pj shorts and then fell asleep for a while. I woke up to someone opening the tent door. I closed my eyes quickly not wanting to talk to anyone. If I faked being asleep maybe they'd go away. I felt someone crawl closer to me and then the person's scent hit me. Dimitri...

"Rose?" He whispered shaking me a little. I groand not wanting to get up. "I have food," he sang. That made me open my eyes and look over to him. He chuckled a little.

I sat up and he passed me a sandwich and an apple juice. I ate the sandwich quickly because I was very hungry. "How long have I been sleeping?" I asked and noticed my voice was rough. I hope my throat wouldn't stop hurting.

Dimitri looked at his watch. "About... six hours. It's passed lunch. I came in here earlier but you just wouldn't wake up so I decided to come back later," Dimitri informed me. I nodded. Wow. I must've been really tired. "I'm sorry for raising my voice at you earlier, but you weren't listening," he apologized.

"It's fine... I guess I just felt sick. Sleep really helped, I feel much better," I told him. He brought his hand to my forehead and he let out a relief breath.

"You don't feel too warm anymore."

"What are the others doing?" I asked.

"Right now their swimming. Are you feeling up to going for a swim?" He wondered.

I nodded and he left the tent so I could change. I changed into a red full suit that was so adorable. It had missing strips that that side of my stomach. I loved it.

I put a sweater over me so I wouldn't be cold on the walk back, and put Birkenstock on. Dimitri was waiting for me and I noticed he was wearing a bathing suite. Was Dimitri going to go swimming? He nodded at me and then we began to walk down to the swimming area. The swimming area was a man built pond with slides and a floating trampoline.

"Oh, my god! Comrade, look!" I said pointing to the zip line. "I'm going on that," I stated, Dimitri grabbed my arm.

"You need to pass your deepend test first," he raised his eyebrow. "And you have to wait another fifteen minutes because you just ate. If you go in now, you'll get cramps," Dimitri said.
