Announcements!

Diane ran through the crowd of people, scanning the packed area for her friends. She spotted King and Ban standing near the balcony of the Supreme Deity's Fortress.

She ran over to them. "Hey!"

"Hi."

"Hello Diane."

"Isn't this exciting!" Diane squealed. "An announcement of something, made by the Supreme Deity herself!"

"Yeah, this doesn't happen very often." King agreed.

"Hey, where's the princess?" Ban asked.

"I don't know." Diane frowned. "Elizabeth said she had to go do something. She said she'd meet up with us later. I haven't seen her since. It's not like her to miss announcements."

"Especially when her Mother's involved. Look, all the clans are here." King pointed around, to all the fairies, Giants, goddesses and humans. There was people for miles.

Suddenly A voice projection spell was cast and several screens appeared so people all over could hear and see the announcement.

A roar of applause was heard when the Supreme Deity walked onto the Balcony. Strangely enough, she was accompanied by the Demon King.

"Hello, and welcome everyone." The Supreme Deity started. "Now, as you may or may not know, the Goddess Clan has established a peace treaty and alliance with the Demon Clan. Now, with this treaty, it opened us up to..."

Meanwhile, in the room behind the balcony, Meliodas and Elizabeth stood nervously.

Meliodas had on black shoes and trousers, a white shirt, black waistcoat and a purple tie. Elizabeth wore white flats with a strapless flowing purple dress with a bow at the back. The outfit designers insisted they be matching in some way.

Elizabeth was wringing her hands nervously, biting her lip. "Elizabeth what's wrong?" Meliodas asked, concerned.

"Nothing."

"Elizabeth."

"I'm nervous." Elizabeth admitted. "What if they don't like it, what if they rebel, what if they think that we're unfit to rule, what if-"

"Hey, look at me." Meliodas instructed. He tilted her head gently with his hand so she was facing her. "We'll be fine. And even if they do, I'll protect you. I'm always going to be here. Remember that, okay?"

She nodded and he smiled and kissed her gently. She kissed back. They broke apart.

"-Officially announcing the engagement of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Meliodas!"

Elizabeth and Meliodas walked out onto the Balcony as the Supreme Deity and the Demon King stepped to the side. The hands with their marks were interlinked. Elizabeth and Meliodas smiled happily, well, Meliodas smirked. His powers activated and her wings outstretched.

There was a few seconds of silence then the crowds clapped thunderous applause, screaming and yelling and cheering. It was deafening.

Deciding to tease the crowd a little, Meliodas grabbed Elizabeth's waist and pulled her in for a kiss in front of everyone. Elizabeth, though initially shocked, quickly kissed back and the mass of people went absolutely wild, clapping and cheering even louder if it was possible.

When they broke apart both Meliodas and Elizabeth grinned widely at the crowd.

The demons, who didn't leave their realm, saw the stream and some yelled out protests but Zeldris brandished his sword and yelled "Anyone with any objections will be killed! Any objections?" The demons were silent. "That's what I thought."

"So that pretty girl is going to be my new sister?" Lia giggled from inside the palace. She was, once again, with Estarossa.

"Yes. She's going to marry Meliodas." Estarossa replied patiently.

"She's pretty." Lia smiled happily.

Estarossa pinned her to the bed and started tickling her mercilessly. "Not as pretty as you!"

"Esse! No! Stop it! Stop it!" Lia laughed.

The tickle fight lasted a while.

After the crowds started dispersing, Meliodas and Elizabeth walked casually up to Diane, King and Ban. People kept walking up to them and congratulating them. "Hey." Meliodas smirked.

"Hey?! That's what you say?!" Diane yelled. "Why didn't you tell me you are engaged?!"

"We didn't know until yesterday." Meliodas replied.

"Yeah, it was arranged between our parents. But it couldn't have worked out better." Elizabeth laughed.

"Um, what's that on your wrists?" Ban asked Elizabeth and Meliodas.

"Oh, t-this?" Elizabeth stammered. "It's-"

"She got marked." King said with disgust.

"Huh? Marked? What's that?" Diane asked, ignoring King's tone.

King replied angrily "His demon claimed her as his mate. Elizabeth, I can't believe you'd fu-"

"Wait, stop right there." Elizabeth said, mad. "What is your problem? Yeah, I get you might not like him much or anything, but do you have to be so rude? Or are you just his big of a jerk all the time and I haven't noticed. We date. We're engaged. He marked me. So what? That doesn't give you the right to spout rubbish about him and I every time you open your mouth! What we do is none of your business! So unless you're going to be civil, then I refuse to associate with you."

Elizabeth grabbed Meliodas's hand. "Come on, let's go to my room." And she stormed off, finished her rant, dragging Meliodas with her.

Once in Elizabeth's room, Meliodas smirked. "Elizabeth when did you become so feisty, hmm?" He pinned her to the wall. Elizabeth blushed.

They started making out heavily, until Diane and Ban walked in. "Um, are we interrupting something?"

"Yes-" Meliodas started.

"No. Come in." Elizabeth cut him off.

They all sat down on Elizabeth's bed. "So, what was going on there~?" Ban teased.

"Nothing." Elizabeth blushed a dark red.

"I wouldn't call that nothing." Diane grinned.

"It's nothing compared to what we've done before." Meliodas raised his eyebrows, smirking.

"Mel! Don't tell them! I'm supposed to be innocent!" Elizabeth slapped his arm lightly.

"Who knew that the pure princess Elizabeth was tainted?" Ban teased.

"So, what did you do today Diane?" Elizabeth said quickly, changing the subject.

They chatted for ages, until it was dark. "Hey! I have an idea. We could have a sleepover!" Elizabeth exclaimed.

"Really Elizabeth?" Meliodas chuckled lightly.

"Yes! Please?" She kissed him on the cheek.

"Fine."

"I have an idea, let's invite Zeldris and Gelda, we know they like eachother, we can make them confess or kiss!"

"I'm in. You two coming?" Meliodas asked.

"Yup!" Diane squealed. "This will be so much fun!" She hugged Elizabeth.

"Ban?" Meliodas inquired.

"Let's do this."
