Meliodas lay in his room. It was early and he hadn't got a minute of sleep. His room was black and red. He was on the bed, yesterday's events swirling in his brain. He smirked when he got to the part with Elizabeth. Now, that was fun.
He was so busy thinking that he got surprised when something landed on his stomach. He opened his eyes to see Lia grinning down at him. "Your Father wants you in the throne room in ten minutes. He says you're going to meet some people!"
"Okay, I will be through soon. Now get out so I can get changed." Meliodas replied. Lia hugged him and left. Meliodas rolled over. No way in hell was he going.
Ten minutes later, Zeldris and Estarossa knocked at his door. "Brother, you've got to get up, father's going to be mad." Came Estarossa's voice.
"No, go away." Meliodas said bluntly.
"Brother, get up." Zeldris said.
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"You know what, screw it." Zeldris muttered. He kicked open Meliodas's bedroom door. He marched over to the bed, grabbed Meliodas's arm and pulled him out of bed. "Get the heck up!"
"No. I don't want to marry some demon. I'm not going." Meliodas replied, annoyed.
"Well, too bad. You have to otherwise we will get killed for it." Zeldris crossed his arms.
"Fine, I'll go, but I won't like any of them." Meliodas gave in. He started shoving on his usual stuff, but in red not blue. (You know, what he wore in the first chapter?)
"It's not like they can force me to marry some dumb girl." Meliodas muttered under his breath. "I've already found my soulmate."
"What was that?" Zeldris asked sharply.
"Nothing." Meliodas answered quickly.
"Sure." Zeldris rolled his eyes. "Let's go."
They walked through the halls until they made it to the throne room. There was three thrones set up. Meliodas's throne in the middle and Zeldris's and Estarossa's on each side.
They sat down in their thrones. Lia was sitting at the side, chatting quietly with a nursemaid.
"Where have you been?!" The Demon King fumed. "You are late!" He slapped Meliodas straight across the face.
"I couldn't find my red outfit. Sorry Father." Meliodas lied. His brothers chose not to sell him out, how kind. They knew what their father was like.
"You should be. Now, let the ladies come in."
Lady after lady walked in the room and did their catwalk thing, bow down to the princes and then leave again.
The royals were mostly silent, apart from the comments from Lia. She would say things like "Wow, she's so pretty!" And "Look at her dress! It's lovely!"
And the one Meliodas loved most which was when Lia would tug at the Demon Kings armour and say "Don't you think she's beautiful? You should marry her!" The Demon King would just sigh and ignore her or tell her to "be quiet."
