His vision was blurry, and his heart ached. That was what Meliodas could tell. He was currently in his bedroom. To be honest, he was crying so much he was surprised he could even still see.

Estarossa saw Meliodas run into his room with no powers activated, and after three hours, Meliodas showed no signs of leaving, so Estarossa grabbed Zeldris.

"What's wrong?" Zeldris asked, looking at his brother's face.

"Well, Meliodas destroyed that mountain earlier and headed to the beach we were at earlier. He came back with no powers activated and he was crying..." Estarossa explained quickly.

"What for?"

"That's what you're gonna help me find out. Now come on." He dragged Zeldris to Meliodas's room.

"Meliodas, can we come in, brother?" Estarossa asked timidly, expecting a yell or a shout.

Silence. Meliodas never answered.

"I guess that means we can go in." Estarossa sighed and pushed open the door. Luckily, it was unlocked.

Inside, there were several ripped up and smashed things, and Meliodas was sitting on the edge of the bed, his knees up at his chest. He was crying, that was clearly obvious, and he stared out of the window, taking no notice of his brothers.

"Brother?" Estarossa called.

Silence.

"Meliodas, what's wrong?" Estarossa sighed firmly. "Tell us."

"Go away." Was Meliodas's reply. "Leave me alone."

"Uggh, what's his problem? I have Lia to worry about, not him too." Estarossa sighed, pulling Zeldris to the side. "You have a bond with him almost as close as Elizabeth does, you try."

Meliodas seemed to almost choke at he mention of Elizabeth's name, and put his head down, crying.

"I'll try... But don't laugh..." Zeldris said uncertainly. He sat down on the bed beside Meliodas. "Hey, what's wrong, little dragon? You look upset?"

The old nickname struck something into Meliodas and he tackled Zeldris into a hug, crying into his chest like Zeldris did all those years.

"What happened?" Zeldris asked, sitting up, holding onto Meliodas like a child.

"E-Elizabth." Meliodas sobbed. "I-I went to the beach, to w-watch the water, and calm down, when they saw me. Elizabeth a-approached me and asked what was wrong, and I just t-told her to go away. We argued, and she s-said some h-hurtful stuff, I did too." Meliodas sniffed, wiping his eyes.

"Is that it?" Zeldris said softly.

"N-No." Meliodas sniffed again. "We continued arguing, and then she said 'Well, maybe I don't want a husband that doesn't feel ready to tell me things that bother him!' and then... And t-then..."

"Meliodas..." Estarossa said slowly, looking at his left hand. "Where's your engagement ring?"

Meliodas glanced down at his hand and burst into tears, hugging Zeldris. Zeldris and Estarossa exchanged worried glances.

"Don't tell Dad, he'll be so mad!" Meliodas hadn't called The Demon King since he was very young, and only ever if he was totally distraught.

"We won't." Estarossa replied angrily. Estarossa looked ready to kill.

Meliodas was crying normally now, and after half an hour of crying, he fell asleep, exhausted. Zeldris laid him carefully on the bed, and ran to catch up with Estarossa.

"Brother, wait!" Zeldris grabbed Estarossa's arm.

"What?"

"Don't even think about it. Do something, and I will personally castrate you!" Zeldris threatened. "They need to work things out on their own, they don't need you making it worse."

"Fine." Estarossa said gruffly. "But next time..."

"Yup. Me too." Zeldris said grimly.

Just then, Gelda ran into Estarossa, sending him flying. "Sorry Estarossa. Zeldris, how's Meliodas." She said sadly.

"Gelda! What are you doing here? It's dangerous!" Zledirs hissed.

"I remembered to put on that guest brooch you gave me." She tapped the badge on her jacket. "So, how is he?"

"He's not very good, to be honest. He cried for about four hours then passed out, exhausted. Elizabeth?" Zeldris admitted.

"The same thing. She kept staring at the rings." Gelda sighed.

" I can't believe that happened." Zeldris nodded. "What do you think they'll do?"

"I think they'll have to apologise. But they're both too stubborn." Gelda sighed. "Who do you think will give in first?"

"I don't know..."

"I bet you a midnight picnic Elizabeth will apologise first." Gelda suddenly smiled.

"What?" Zeldris exclaimed. "You're betting on this?"

"Why not?"

"Fine. but if Meliodas wins, you have to jump off that cliff into the lake."

"Come on! That cliff is high as heck!"

"You wanted to bet." Zeldris grinned.

"Fine, deal." Gelda smiled. They leaned in and kissed. Unfortunately, he demon King saw.

"What is this?" The Demon King growled. "A vampire, in the castle with a guest brooch? And Zeldris! You're kissing a vampire?! You two, my office, now."

"Fuck..." Zeldris muttered under his breath, trailing after his Father. But they were grinning, Gelda was holding his hand as they walked behind the demon King.

Once they reached the office, the Demon King turned around. "Go, vampire. Leave us at once."

Gelda bowed respectfully. "Yes, sir."

She walked away and as soon as she was round the corner, she heard a loud CRACK! And a crash. She also heard the Demon King yell "A VAMPIRE? I DID NOT GIVE CONSENT FOR THIS! I RAISED YOU, LOOKED AFTER YOU IN YOUR MOTHER'S PLACE AND YET THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME? YOU UNGRATEFUL, WORTHLESS SON!"

Gelda kept running. She exited the Demon Realm, or Demon Territory and ran back to where Diane, King, Ban and Elaine was.

"So, how is the stupid demon?" King spat angrily.

"King! He's just as distraught as Elizabeth is, stupid!" Gelda hissed. "I asked Zeldris, he said that he told them what happened, cried, and eventually fell asleep."

"Anything else happen?" Diane wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. Trust Diane to make a bad situation awkwardly funny.

"Not that! I mean, we kissed then the Demon King caught us and got mad. He dragged Zeldris to his office and I'm pretty sure he chucked Zeldris through a wall. Then he yelled about how ungrateful Zeldris is to him for dating me..." Gelda sighed.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Elaine sighed. "Today isn't the best day for being in a relationship, is it?"

"Probably not. But we were expecting it to happen anyway. He was going it find out somehow."

"Oh. So, when will they make up?" King asked, talking about Meliodas and Elizabeth.

"A few days, a week maybe?" Ban suggested. "They like each other too much to do this for long. I think Meliodas will apologise first."

"Zeldris and I bet on it." Gelda grinned.

"GELDA!"
