"Meliodas! Get up!" Elizabeth poked Meliodas. They were in bed, and Meliodas refused to wake up.

"No." Meliodas hid under the covers. "The light burns my eyes."

"Get up! Come on! Hurry! We'll be late for the meeting!" Elizabeth poked him again.

"What meeting?" Meliodas mumbled, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"The meeting! With the Archangels! And we'll be late if we don't get up now! We overslept again." Elizabeth prodded him again, then went over to her wardrobe, pulled out something to wear, and started to get dressed.

"Fine. I hate meeting with the Archangels." Meliodas huffed, also getting dressed. "They still hate me."

"No they don't. At least, Tarmiel and Sariel don't hate you. And Mael doesn't really care." Elizabeth smiled, brushing her hair quickly.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Rueduciel does though." Meliodas sighed, then chuckled. "I'm still waiting for an assassination attempt from him. If you're ready, shall we go?" Meliodas chuckled, holding his hand out towards his wife.

"We shall." Elizabeth chuckled, taking his hand. They walked hand in hand towards the throne room. It was where they held important meetings.

Elizabeth and Meliodas had been married a year now, and they were announced the joint leaders of the Demon and Goddess Clans. The clans didn't like the fact that they were joint ruling, but no one objected. It was mostly since the clans were basically separate, but they had the same rulers .

The Supreme Deity and the Demon King were also announced as Absolute Leaders of their clans, so they were still in charge, but they promised to only step in if necessary.

Walking into the throne room, they took their seats in the thrones at the front of the room. Meliodas activated his darkness then waved his hand and a goddess ran forward and bowed. "Have the Archangels arrived yet?" He asked.

"Yes, your majesty. They arrived through the portal a few minutes ago." The Goddess replied.

The Supreme Deity's fortress was based in the human realm. There was a heavily guarded room that held the portal to the realm of the Goddesses. The reason for the fortress was to protect the portal and to make negotiation easier with the other clans. The Demons also had a portal, but it was moved so frequently that no one except the demons knew where it was.

"Send them in, please." Elizabeth smiled.

"At once, your majesty." The Goddess bowed again, and disappeared.

"What's this meeting about, anyway?" Meliodas asked Elizabeth in low tones.

Elizabeth sighed. "I told you yesterday! It's a report on the Goddesses realm. Remember, we had the Demon Realm's report yesterday?"

The Four Archangels were in charge of handling day-to-day matters, so that only things deemed of importance were brought to Meliodas and Elizabeth's attention. Lia and Estarossa were in charge of handling the Demon clan's day-to-day things. Zeldris was in charge of the Commandments.

"Oh. Now I remember. Thanks, Ellie." Meliodas grinned.

Elizabeth went pink. "You haven't used that name in a while."

"Oh really? I might just have to start using it again, if you give that reaction every time." Meliodas chuckled quietly.

Elizabeth was about to retort, when the double doors were opened and the Four Archangels walked in.

"Supreme Deity, Demon King." Tarmiel bowed grandly. The others bowed as well, though Rueduciel didn't look pleased.

"I've told you before, Tarmiel. That was our parents. Queen Elizabeth and King Meliodas is just fine. Our parents are still above us, after all." Elizabeth smiled.
