"Well, it's been two weeks..." Diane sighed.
Two weeks had passed since the fight of Meliodas and Elizabeth, and none of them had left their house. The couple hadn't even talked. Zeldris was also nowhere to be found.
"And they still haven't shown up yet!" King grumbled.
"Meliodas definitely won't show up. He knows you would all chew him up if he did." Elaine accused King. She had spent more time with the group, insisting that she was allowed, no matter what her brother thought.
"Since when did you become such good friends with Meliodas?" King grumbled.
"I'm not, but i do know what you're like, brother." She giggled. "I also know what annoys you the most." To prove her point, she sat in Ban's lap, causing King to go red with fury.
Everyone chuckled, eventually King did too. They joked around and made small talk for a while.
Gelda joined them later, running towards them. Her expression was dampened when she noticed Zeldris wasn't there but only Diane and Elaine noticed it.
"Hey." Gelda said, plopping down beside them.
"Still no sign of Elizabeth?" Diane sighed.
"Actually- wait, is that Zeldris?" Gelda stopped midsentence. Zeldris was staring at everyone from the edge of the field. "Come over!" She yelled, but he just shook his head. So Ban, Diane, King, Elaine and Gelda took that as a sign to walk over to him.
Zeldris was leaning against a tree. "Hey." The right side of his face was all bruised.
"What's wrong with your face? Are you okay?" Gelda put her hand up to his cheek but he brushed her hand way, grinning.
"I'm good. Anyway, exciting news, I saw Meliodas leave his room. It looked like he was going to the waterfall." Zeldris grinned.
"Funny! I was about to tell you all! Elizabeth was headed there as well!" Gelda said excitedly.
"You think they know each other will be there?" Ban wondered.
"Probably. Let's just wait and see if they get back together." King suggested. The rest of them nodded. "Why don't we go to Balance Point? There's a nice café I like going to."
The others agreed and started heading towards Balance Point, but Zeldris grabbed Gelda's hand. "Gelda, I need to talk to you about something."
"About what?" She said, getting worried.
"I'll tell you later, okay? Let's just enjoy the café." Zeldris suddenly grinned widely. "Do you think they sell brownies?"
"I think so."
"Yes! I love brownies! They taste like chocolate cake, but they're not chocolate cake!" Zeldris cheered.
"Weirdo."
"Hey! Just because I like brownies!"
Meanwhile, Meliodas was sitting at the foot of the waterfall, watching the fish in the river. This was where Elizabeth and him first met up properly, and weren't trying to kill eachother.
He heard a flapping of wings behind him, and turned around to look. Elizabeth landed a few metres away, her wings all droopy.
Meliodas just looked away. She came and sat next to him, looking at the stones beneath her.
"Meliodas?"
"What?"
"I'm sorry." He turned to face Elizabeth. They were both staring at eachother, until Elizabeth continued. "I said some things I honestly didn't mean, and I know they were really hurtful, and I was just frustrated, and-"
