Meliodas stormed out of his Father's office, fists clenched tightly. Everyone was avoiding him, too terrified to be near Meliodas in his temper.

He stormed out of the castle and through the village, people scrambling to get out of his way. He kept walking, not looking up. Meliodas passed he training field, and briefly considered lashing out in there, but there was people inside, and thought better of it.

Instead, he walked to a nearby mountain. He summoned his sword, jumped up and started attacking the mountain, giant slashes appearing all around the mountain.

"Stupid, asshole." Meliodas cursed his Father. Slash. Slash. "Why'd he bring it up, just get over it." Slash. Slash.

The noise was deafening, like an earthquake and a volcanic eruption mixed. With a final attack, Meliodas split the mountain in half, and it crashed to the ground in an avalanche.

"But... As he said so many times before..." Meliodas muttered, kicking the ground. "It was... Maybe... Just maybe... It was my fault."

Flashbacks of after the incident sprang to mind.

"But brother, come out! Father will punish you if you don't!" The equivalent of a thirteen year old Estarossa yelled through the door.

"No, go away!"

"But it wasn't your fault!" An equivalent of a nine year old Zeldris said.

"Shut up! Go away!" Equivalent of a seventeen year old Meliodas argued. "You weren't there!"

"I don't care! I know it wouldn't be your fault!" Zeldris yelled back. For a nine year old year old, the kid had guts to tell back at one of the most feared demons in the kingdom.

"Shut up, just leave me alone. Tell him I'll be there in ten minutes." Meliodas sniffed.

"Fine. But if we get punished, brother, it's your fault." Estarossa sighed, picking up Zeldris and walking away. Meliodas could hear Zeldris yelling to get out down and chuckled slightly.

"They weren't there, they wouldn't know..." Meliodas spat. He decided to go to the beach, again. He didn't want to face anyone in his current rage, especially Elizabeth, but the water calmed him down.

Meliodas left the realm again and flew to the beach, where Elaine, Diane and Gelda were. Ban and King were also there.

He landed not far from them, and cursed himself for not landing further away when Ban waved in his direction. Meliodas ignored them and stomped away, looking ready to murder someone.

"Huh, that's odd, he blew us off." Diane asked, confusedly.

"What a foul temper he's in." Elaine commented.

"Well, he is a demon." Diane giggled.

"What?!"

"You didn't know?!?!"

"No!"

"Well, he's a bit cold at first, but Meliodas is really kind when you get to know him. But just don't insult anyone he cares about or you will be decapitated." Diane chuckled.

"Oh, okay?" Elaine sighed.

Elizabeth frowned. "I should go up and check on him." She said, standing up.

"I wouldn't, princess." Ban shook his head. "Meliodas looks super mad about something."

"I'll be okay, I think." Elizabeth called, walking away. "He is my future husband, after all!"

"Wait..." Elaine yelled. "ELIZABETH IS MARRYING THE DEMON KING'S ELDEST SON AND I DON'T KNOW?! AM I INVITED TO THE WEDDING? WHEN IS THE WEDDING?! WHY DOESN'T ANYONE TELL ME ANYTHING?!" Elaine shrieked.

They all chuckled and Diane started explaining everything that had happened over the last two months.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth was cautiously approaching Meliodas. He was sitting on some rocks, watching the waves.

"Uh, Meliodas?"

"What do you want?" He said harshly.

"Umm, are you okay?" She said quietly.

"What do you think?"

"Oh... Can I ask why?"

"No. Can you just go, I'm not in the mood."

"No. I will not just 'go'. Your my fiancé and I'm supposed to help you!" Elizabeth struggled, her temper rising. "How am I supposed to do that when you won't tell me anything?"

"So that's what it's all about? I don't have to tell you everything, you know!" Meliodas stood up to meet Elizabeth's gaze.

Elizabeth yelled "Well, I think it's only fair! You know everything there is to know about me, but i don't know lots of things about you! Your childhood, your parents-"

"So what?! I'm allowed to keep secrets, you know! There's some things I don't want to talk about, okay? So don't keep pushing me on it!" He yelled back.

"Well, don't think I don't know about everything you've kept from me! The night terrors, the screaming, the anxiety, the thoughts of death you have, all the stuff you tried to hide! I'm not dumb!" Elizabeth yelled, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Neither am I!" He furiously said. "It's my business! If I don't want to tell you, can you please wait until I do, isn't that what soon to be married people do? Supposed to trust eachother?!"

"Maybe." She sniffed. "But how am I supposed to keep trusting a husband who keeps things from me? I've put up with it for our entire relationship, and I'm not going to keep putting up with it any longer, Meliodas."

"For fuck sake, Elizabeth! I'm not keeping them from you! I just don't feel ready to tell anyone yet! Have you ever thought about that?!"

"Well, maybe I don't want a husband that doesn't feel ready to tell me things that bother him!" She covered her mouth in shock. That escalated too far.

"Oh really?" Meliodas chuckled, his bangs covering his eyes as he looked down at his hands, his left one glinting in the sunlight. He used his right hand to grip it. "Well, if you can't trust me, I guess then you probably want this back in that case? After all, what's the point in marrying someone you don't trust?"

He handed Elizabeth something and then he left, tears coming out of his eyes.

Elizabeth sank to the floor, sobbing. Everyone ran over immediately, rushing to Elizabeth's side.

"Elizabeth! What's wrong? We could hear you arguing." King worried.

"We couldn't make out what you were saying, though." Elaine added reassuringly.

"I asked him what's wrong, and he didn't tell me. We fought and thing got said, bad things. Very hurtful things." Elizabeth said, between sobs.

Diane's hand flew to her mouth. "Don't tell me-" everyone else's eyes widened.

Elizabeth only sobbed harder. In her left hand, she held up an engagement ring.
