Elizabeth flew quickly over an abandoned battlefield. The once green grass was stained with blood, and bodies were littered throughout the plain, slaughtered where they stood.

Elizabeth sighed. It was a shame they didn't listen to her when she pleaded them to change sides. Such avoidable deaths. Fortunately, Elizabeth didn't need to see the slaughter, as her healing was needed elsewhere.

Glancing at her outfit, she noticed it was ripped and bloody. Elizabeth sighed, another thing she had to deal with. She flapped her wings, and sped off to the Supreme Deity's Fortress.

It had been another two weeks since Meliodas had become a girl in order to kidnap that mage in his bar. Elizabeth still giggled thinking about Meliodas as a blonde girl. It was so cute seeing him as a girl, but she did NOT like seeing him flirt with that man. It was her husband, and it seemed everyone was kissing him lately.

Elizabeth reached the Fortress she called home and landed delicately in the front courtyard. The guards nodded to her politely and stepped out the way for her to enter the Fortress. Elizabeth sighed again, before walking in.

She walked all the way to her chambers, and entered the lounge. Lia and Gelda were there, chatting.

"Hey!" Elizabeth smiled, waving. She sat on a chair beside them.

"Hi!" Lia smiled. Elizabeth noticed that, like Meliodas and his brothers, she'd become a lot more spirited since the beginning of the war. She supposed it was something to do with Demons being creatures of darkness.

Gelda nodded politely. "Hello, Elizabeth."

"So, what did my Mother have you do today?" Elizabeth smiled.

"I had to do a perimeter check on the northeast side, and Gelda came with me. We only encountered a few brigades, and we took them out easily, didn't we Gelda?" Lia said, shrugging.

"We did." Gelda agreed. "So we were aloud to just take the day off. I've been feeling a little off lately. A bit uneasy."

"I think we all have." Elizabeth sighed. "Anyway, where's Zeldris, Meliodas and Estarossa?"

"Did your Mother not tell you?" Lia frowned. "They're helping lead a siege to reclaim a city on the northeast, Aberdine, I think."

"What?! Why would they not tell me?!" Elizabeth gasped, clenching her fists. She knew she was being a little petty, but she couldn't bring herself to calm down.

"They didn't know until a few hours ago, and you'd already left. They'll be back tonight." Gelda tried to soothe the queen. "And nothing will happen to them, they're practically invincible compared to the city guards."

Elizabeth blew out a deep breath and flopped off the chair onto a rug. "You're right. I'm sorry, I don't know what's got into me lately."

"The war. It's getting to everyone, one way or another." Gelda sighed.

"Come on, let's have a little girly sort of chat, it's too dark and depressing for five o'clock in the afternoon." Lia tried to lighten the mood.

"What about?" Elizabeth asked, sitting up. She suggested. "How about married life? Or just life with boys in general?"

"You'll jump at any opportunity to talk about Meliodas, won't you?" Lia teased.

"Shut up!" Elizabeth laughed it off. "But he's my husband, and he has muscles."

"So does Zeldris." Gelda giggled. "And Estarossa. And Rueduciel, Mael, Ban-"

"Alright, I get it." Elizabeth giggled. "How is Estarossa, Lia? Since you two are usually in a pair and I haven't seen him much these past few weeks."

"He's happy, I suppose. He never enjoyed killing as much as the others did, but he does get the practice, so..." Lia trailed off, shrugging, before laughing at a thought. "You two talk like he's my boyfriend or something!"

"Is he?" Gelda asked.

"No! That's incest! Don't say that!" Lia shoved Gelda.

"Alright, Alright, forget I said anything." She grumbled, rubbing her shoulder. "What about you, Elizabeth? I know you're dying to talk about Meliodas."

"I'm not!" Elizabeth mumbled. "What about you and Zeldris? Anything interesting? Any fights?"

"No, we haven't fought much at all. Except for a fight a few days ago..." Gelda trailed off.

"I'm sorry." Lia patted Gelda's hand in sympathy. "What was it about? Not enough bedroom time?"

"No, more like too much of it." Gelda sighed.

Lia clearly didn't understand, but Elizabeth paled slightly. She reached out quickly and grabbed Gelda's hand. "You aren't-"

"Aren't what?" Lia questioned. "Am I missing something?"

Gelda went pale, and started trembling slightly. "I-I'm pregnant."

"What?!" Lia almost shrieked. She lowered her voice back to normal. "What did he say? If he hurt you or anything I swear to god-"

"No, he was sweet. It's just," Gelda blinked back tears. "We were arguing about whether or not to say anything yet, or whether we could wait a bit. And also how we could even consider trying to raise a child." Gelda wiped her eyes.

"Come here." Elizabeth pulled Gelda into an embrace full of sympathy and love.

Later that night, Elizabeth was sitting in the lounge after the boys had come back from Aberdine. The mission had been a success. Meliodas and Elizabeth were the only ones in, as the others were still eating.

"I missed you today." Elizabeth sighed, kissing Meliodas happily.

"I missed you too." Meliodas smiled, kissing Elizabeth back. Somehow his tongue made his way into her mouth and they started to make out, he arms around his neck and his hands on her waist.

He started trailing kisses down her neck when Elizabeth pushed away, looking distressed. "No, we can't."

"Aw, why not?" Meliodas pouted childishly.

"Because." Elizabeth tried to avoid the question.

"Elizabeth..." Meliodas pouted.

"Because I don't want to get pregnant like Gelda!" Elizabeth blurted, before covering her mouth. That did not mean to happen.

"What?" Meliodas sat up straight. "Gelda's pregnant?" He said, right when Lia, Estarossa, Gelda and Zeldris entered the room.

Zeldris was pinned up against the wall by Estarossa, who had his arm against Zeldris's neck. Gelda stood frozen in place, and so did Lia.

"What the fuck is wrong with you two?" Estarossa spat.
