Chapter 23

"What do you mean I am ban from Stallion Riding Club?!" halos mapasigaw si Noel Villarama sa kausap nito sa kabilang linya.

"I didn't pay you that much for a news like this. Gawan mo ng paraan, magbayad ka ng pera wala akong pakialam. Kailangang makapasok ako ng riding club na iyon." dirediretsong pahayag niya dito.

"You should calm down, it's your day today isn't it?" suhestyon ni Felipe na nakamasid sa kanya ng oras na iyon.

Nasa isang exclusive suite sila ng hotel kung saan gaganapin ang party.

"I will take no for an answer, so you better do your job well." iyon ang huli nyang sinabi bago tapusin ang tawag na iyon.

"I can't believe Reid Alleje did that to me." inisang inom nito ang brandy na nasa coffee table.

"I told you not to mess with him, not the owner of Stallion Riding Club." iiling-iling na kumento ni Felipe.

"At least we already know where your niece is hiding, that's what important now." dagdag p nito bago sinalinan ulet ng brandy ang baso ni Noel at nag-toast.

"Yes you're right." nabago agad ang mood nito.

"For Executive President Noel Villarama." itinaas pa nila ulet ang kanilang mga baso. Isang ngiti ang sumilay naman sa mga labi ni Noel.

She tugged Lorenz hand when they were about to reach the entrance of the hotel.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm right here." nilapitan sya ni Lorenz at ngumiti sa kanya.

Napatingala sya dito and just by looking at him it calm her senses.

Huminga muna sya ng malalim bago nagsalita.

"I think I really need this right now." she tiptoed and grabbed Lorenz by the collar of his tuxedo and kiss him on the lips.

Halatang nagulat si Lorenz dahil nanlaki ang mata nito ng maglapit ang mga labi nila. It only lasted for a few seconds but it felt surreal and magical for both of them.

Naitakip na lang ni Aurea sa mukha ang clutch bag na ibinigay ni Clover sa kanya kanina bago sila umalis at halos patakbo ng pumasok ng hotel.

Lorenz on the other hand was still in shock while looking at the direction where Aurea went. Then a wide grin flashed his handsome face.

"It's like a goodluck kiss, right?" he asked himself and the smile did not leave his face.

"Yeah, it's a goodluck kiss." parang tangang nasabi na lang ni Lorenz bago sumunod kay Aurea sa loob.

He saw her standing near the reception and when she saw him, Aurea immediately divert her gaze at the other direction. With that Lorenz approach her with a mischievous smile.

Tumikhim ito bago magsalita ng makalapit na sya.

"Nasa 11th floor daw ang party." hindi pa din ito makatingin sa kanya ng diretso matapos ang ginawa nito kanina. Cute.

"Okay, let's go." he tried not to sound too excited. He grabbed Aurea's hand and headed to the elevator.

Sila lang dalawa ang nasa loob ngayon ng elevator at ramdam ni Aurea ang pamumula ng mukha nya at ang biglang pag-init ng paligid. She glanced at Lorenz on her peripheral vision and was shocked when he winked at her. Napatingala tuloy sya habang nakahawak sa leeg looking at nothing.

"I think it will go smoothly tonight since you already got your goodluck kiss." napatingin sya dito at napanganga sa sinabi nito.

She was about to say something when the elevator stopped at the 11th floor.
