Lance POV
My whole week has been so tiresome. I've been doing double work on my distribution sector and the marketing department.
We really need a person to fill in even if it's temporarily before we settle down on the permanent post on it.
Dad hasn't found time to allocate one so he requested I take over on the interview that was later posted to be on a Monday morning next week. I don't like reading boring stuffs like someone's CVS so I hugely supported on the slight change.
Thursday morning, just as always woke up very early to get to job. Been too worked up that I don't get time to prepare myself breakfast or dinner which doesn't oftenly happen.
I really need a refreshment this weekend. Like really really want one.
Today's there's too much paperwork so am just stuck on my office buried down on a heap of documents that needs to be signed and approved.
These are the days you just wish you had superpowers like do all the magic wand stuffs and all is done in microseconds.
Is that even possible?
                              **knocks**
"Sorry to interrupt you sir, but you have a visitor. I frankly told her you can't see someone you're tight just as you instructed but she just doesn't want to listen." Leslie, our secretary explains.
                              A she.
Well that sure is probably Sophie coming to ask about her boyfriend's whereabouts, Lyre since he's been off of late. This woman is so crazy. Up to my work place? Why couldn't she just go to Vold or give a call first?
"It's okay. Just let her in. I'll handle this." I openly reasoned out. Maybe it's something important or urgent for fucks sake but still it's a distraction.
Minutes later I hear heel's sounds enter through my door after Leslie left. Am too consumed to the contract document so I just guessed it's her.
"Please help yourself with a seat. What's up Sophie?" I calmly enquired still fixed on my table.
                              "Lance."
                              That voice.
It's familiar.
For sure that ain't Sophie.
It can't be her.
It's not her.
It's...?
Is it...?
Not possible.
The last human I least expected to turn up in my office.
I just stopped signing the document and just froze.
Is it my mind doing tricks with me or what?
It just can't be her.
So I just took my pace adjusting while I slowly lifted my head up to look and confirm if it's whom am struggling fighting to think of.
It can't be.
                              It's my nightmare.
She's just staring at me with those blue eyes.
My weakness.
Pain is the only thing I can see I her eyes.
Braxton.
I feel like I want to speak question why heck would she have the balls to show up in my job place but my mouth can't move.
I feel like am dumb.
So I just stare at her.
Shock.
"Please I beg, just give me your seconds. Don't drag me out before you hear what I have to say.Please."
                              Flashback
This is it. The moment I've been waiting to arrive is finally here.
I have arranged everything. The surprise and all.
How is it supposed to be done? Of course I have to go on my knees that's the basic obvious thing but what are the right words to say on such a tense moment.
Yes. Am about to propose to my one and loving banana of all times. We have been dating for a year and few months now and I trust my guts. She's definitely the one. We've been up and Downs together but we always get through all those. I love her. She has given me more reasons to believe in myself and be the man I am today.
