She was curled into a tight ball on her bed, her body shook with each sob, tears soaking up her pillow when a knock sounded through the room and the door opened to reveal Mrs Lovett, her mother.

Mrs Lovett walked through her daughter's room to the curled up figure on her bed and her heart hurt. Her poor daughter didn't deserve this at all, she laid down on her bed and wrapped her arms around her.

Asanda stilled in her mother's arms but then she relaxed and began to cry when she realized its been quite some time since her mother embraced her and she missed that a lot, her tears began to soak her t-shirt as her mother whispered sweet nothings into her ear.

Finally her tears dried up she looked into her mother's eyes which were lovingly looking back at her and she spilled, she told her what Jamie did to her, to what extent, how she felt like dirt and couldn't get Jamie out of her head, about how the past events made her insecurities sky rocket, how she missed her, everything and her mother listened to her, not interrupting.

When Asa finished talking her mother just kept silent for some time until she whispered out "Honey, I know its hard and I'm sorry for not being with you in your time of need, but I want to start changing that ..." She trailed off and Asa remained silent looking at her mother questioningly.

"I think its a good idea for you to go to therapy.." She said and Asa opened her mouth to disagree but her mother shook her head. " I'm serious Asa, keeping these pent up emotions in you is not good for your physical and mental health, you need somebody to help you sort out your emotions baby or you're going to self destruct."

Asa looked away at her mother, chewing at her bottom lip in thought. She didn't like the sound of telling her problems to a complete stranger but maybe it could help the turmoil that's inside her, maybe, just maybe it could tame the hurricane residing within her. "Okay..." She finally whispered after a long train of silence. "I'll do it."

A smile lit up her mother's face "Thank you darling. I'm doing this for you baby, you know that right?" Asa nodded and her mother grabbed her and pulled her into her chest.

And they just stayed like that
