Erica’s POV

As the last song ended, Kori and I worked our way around all of the screaming fans to make it backstage to meet the boys. Girls kept giving us dirty looks for accidentally bumping into them, but we were too excited to even acknowledge them.

We got to the side of the stage, where the stairs were leading to the VIP area backstage. A security guard was standing there to block the entrance of any crazed fans trying to get a glimpse of the boys. We showed him our VIP passes and he stepped aside to let us through. We looked around for a couch to sit on and found one a few feet away. We both sat down, neither of us able to speak because of our excitement.

“Thank you Sydney, you’ve been great!” we heard a voice say from the stage. All four boys suddenly ran past us to get changed, not seeing us yet. Another group of girls, maybe 15 or so, emerged from the entryway Kori and I came through and walked over to where we were. They were all screaming and fangirling in excitement.

“Are you guys here for the meet and greet?” a some-what calm fan asked me

“Yeah, the guys just ran passed in the dressing room,” I said, barely able to make out any words myself. I was still in awe of what happened this night. How could I have not known who Luke was?

“Hi everyone!” a voice said, and we all turned to see the members of the band walking towards us. My heart fluttered for about the millionth time when I saw Luke made eye contact with me. Kori clearly saw and nudged me, causing me to jump out of my daydreaming and turn to look at her when I saw a smirk on her face.

“Oh, hush. I haven’t even talked to him yet,” I giggled.

“Well, now’s your chance,” She told me. I turned to see Luke walking over to me, excitement clear in his eyes. It took all the will power I had inside of me to resist sprinting to him and wrapping him in a bear hug.

“This is going to seem crazy, but I know you from somewhere. Can we go somewhere alone to talk?” I asked Luke once he walked over to where Kori and I were sitting.

“I was just going to ask you the same thing,” Luke beamed. “Calum, we’ll be back,” he yelled to the bassist.

“Use protection!” Calum said with a wink, causing both Luke and I to blush. I turned to tell Kori to tell her that I would be back soon, but I could see she was in a deep conversation with Ashton. I stopped myself when I saw her giggling at a joke he told

“Okay let’s go. Follow me,” Luke said to me, beaming. We walked down the hall behind the stage into what I figured was one of the boy’s dressing room.

“You’ve been in my dreams for three years. It started when I was moving to Australia from the United States when I was 14, and I was having a lot of trouble with it. On the flight here, I fell asleep and you popped up into my dreams. I never could figure out who you were, considering I usually listen to classic rock,” I blurted as soon as we shut the door behind us. “Your advice helped me so much through everything, and I’ve been looking for you ever since. I didn’t even know if you were real.” I told Luke. “Now tell me your side so I don’t feel as crazy,” I said, causing Luke to laugh.

“My story starts about a year back, when the rumors that the paparazzi were creating were getting crazy and really out of hand. It was honestly driving me insane. One night, I was absolutely sick of it and just tried to fall asleep to avoid it somehow. You came into my dream that time, and looked just as beautiful as you do now,” Luke explained, causing me to blush. “Your advice was incredible, and everyday I’ve been trying to figure this whole thing out. I honestly can’t even believe you’re here,” Luke said in adoration as he looked into my eyes.
