A sudden gust of wind swept past the three of us, as Mr. Saotome swept down the staircase.

"Hello, my fellow students," he greeted, doing a weird little dance routine when he reached the bottom.

"Where's Camus and Ran-ran?" Kotobuki-senpai questioned.

"Right here," a deep voice replied, as the two people in question appeared.

"Fabulous! All of you are here!" Mr. Saotome boomed.

"Why are we here?" Camus-senpai asked.

"To tell you of the vacation! You five are going camping!" Mr. Saotome announced.

"We are?" Mikaze-senpai asked with some disdain.

"Of course! You five need to get to know each other better. And what better way to do that than to go camping?" Mr. Saotome explained.

"Camping. Like as in sleeping in tents?" Kurosaki-senpai asked, sounding mildly annoyed.

"Yes," Mr. Saotome replied matter-of-factly.

"When?" I asked, the only person who seemed concerned about the schedule.

"Tomorrow," Kotobuki-senpai cracked a joke. Instead of getting the laughs he was aiming for, he got a nod from Mr. Saotome, which automatically made him go quiet.

"W-wait. We're leaving tomorrow?" Kotobuki-senpai repeated in a disbelieving tone.

"Since school is over for Ms. Sayaka, and you four have no jobs to attend to currently, I've decided to make it this week," Mr. Saotome explained, "as you five will be pretty busy from then on."

"Yeah but don't we have to pack?" Mikaze-senpai asked.

"Yes. We're meeting here tomorrow morning at 7 sharp. We're leaving at 8. Mr. Mikaze, may you pick Ms. Sayaka at her house and bring her here tomorrow morning?" Mr. Saotome requested.

"Aww why is it always him that gets all the fun? Why can't I do it?" Kotobuki-senpai pouted. He flashed a wink to me, "after all, I would love to know Sayaka-san better."

"Because you're hardly punctual yourself," Mikaze-senpai replied bluntly, which earned another frown from Kotobuki-senpai. However, he didn't disagree from it, which meant that it was true.

"Is that all?" Camus-senpai inquired, already looking like he was thinking of the things to pack. I had heard that he was from royalty, which probably meant he was going to pack his whole closet into his suitcases. That was going to take him quite a while, if he was planning to do that.

"Yesssssssss. Pack quickly, and I'll see you all tomorrrroooowwww!" Mr. Saotome announced, and he raced out of the house before any of us could reply.

"Is he always this last minute?" I asked hesitantly.

"Yep. You get used to it," Camus-senpai replied, looking at me in a rather judging way.

"Don't worry, all we have to do is pack for one week of camping," Kotobuki-senpai reassured us.

"You're too optimistic. Only one week?" Kurosaki-senpai grumbled.

"It's better to be optimistic than to be pessimistic," Kotobuki-senpai cheerfully reminded him back, which just made him frown.

"We better start now," Mikaze-senpai suggested, "at this rate, we'll never finish packing in time if we wish to go to sleep at 12."

"12?" I repeated, looking at him as if I had seen a ghost.

"Is there a problem?" Mikaze-senpai asked in response, his eyes looking at me cooly.

"Th-that's just so late," I couldn't help but stutter a bit. Mikaze-senpai did creep me out at times.
